Instant fish: cheap and healthy clean working fish, feed fish, etc.

Filter material setting of outer filter barrel (according to water flow direction):

1, coarse filter cotton (two layers), mainly used for physical pre-filtration. If it is wrapped outside the water inlet of the outer filter barrel, it is easier to replace;

2, biochemical cotton, the main function is to cultivate digestive bacteria that decompose organic matter, which can improve the clarity of water quality;

3, glass ring, generally speaking, the volume of glass ring accounts for 3 ~ 5% of the whole tank water volume, and its main function is to cultivate nitrifying bacteria and ensure that the water quality is non-toxic;

4. Coarse filter cotton (first layer), whose main function is to physically filter, break up and adsorb bacterial metabolic wastes.

Other kinds of filtering equipment can be set with reference to the above-mentioned outer filtering barrel.

Second, the cylinder opening process:

On the first day, install the equipment-inject water-spread sand (about 5cm thick, or not spread sand)-run the equipment-check whether there is any water leakage and whether there is any problem in equipment installation.

Drain the water the next day, then re-inject water (tap water is enough after aeration)-run the equipment (filtering and aerating equipment, which will not be closed from now on)-add healthy and healthy fish and add nitrifying bacteria according to the instructions. (Then continue to supplement nitrifying bacteria according to the instructions for ten consecutive days. )

On the seventh day or so, according to the experience of some experts, nitrite bacteria that decompose NH3/NH4 have been initially established, but nitrate bacteria have been unable to keep pace. At this time, the content of NO2 in the water will reach the peak, and the fish that break into the tank are prone to discomfort. If there is nothing unusual at this time and the fish are more active, you can increase the number of fish day by day from the tenth day and gradually increase the feeding amount.

After one month, the biochemical system is basically stable, so you can consider adding expensive main fish.

Third, the daily maintenance:

Change the water regularly (1/3 to 1/5 per week), the water change cycle can be gradually lengthened, and the water change volume can be gradually reduced, as long as there is no brown algae. If the water is tap water, it should be pumped for 24 hours to remove residual chlorine in tap water and reduce the damage to nitrification system and fish.

Feed the fish regularly, don't let the fish eat too much, and don't leave residual bait.

Fourth, matters needing attention:

A, after adding the fish, if there is any abnormality, change the water (partially) as soon as possible.

B, filtration and oxygen supply equipment as far as possible without interruption.

C, the total volume of the glass ring in the filter barrel should reach 3 ~ 5% of the whole cylinder water;

D, the oxygen content of water body is related to the biological filtration efficiency, and oxygen can be increased without affecting the viewing.

E. It is recommended to choose imported famous brands for nitrifying bacteria, and it is best not to use domestic brands.

F. Physical filtration and biological filtration of the filtration system can only ensure that the water quality is clear and non-toxic. For specific species, water temperature, PH value and hardness are all important factors. It is recommended to refer to specific information and make corresponding adjustments.
