What is the difference between a rehabilitation center and a nursing home?
There are five differences between rehabilitation centers and nursing homes:

Service orientation: Recreation center mainly provides a comprehensive functional area integrating sports, fitness and leisure communication for the elderly, and now it appears as a part of new community facilities. Nursing homes are facilities that provide collective life and support services for the elderly. They have a certain scale (generally more than 20 beds) and are collectively called nursing homes.

Service content: The hospital has a fixed service place, necessary living facilities and outdoor activities, and its functions can include medical treatment, rehabilitation, nursing, health management, pharmacy, old-age care, business support, community activities and other services. The service content of nursing homes may be relatively simple, mainly including nursing beds and non-nursing beds, as well as some basic life and nursing services.

Clients: The clients of rehabilitation centers are mainly healthy elderly people, while the clients of nursing homes are more extensive, including elderly people with nursing needs.

Service facilities: Rehabilitation centers usually have comprehensive service facilities, such as medical equipment and rehabilitation equipment. The service facilities in nursing homes may be relatively simple, mainly to meet the basic needs of the elderly.

Service mode: the service mode of the health center is more diversified, including medical treatment, rehabilitation, nursing and other service modes. The service mode of nursing homes may be more unified, mainly providing collective life and supporting services.

In short, rehabilitation centers and nursing homes are different in service orientation, service content, service objects, service facilities and service methods. Health centers pay more attention to health management and diversified services, while nursing homes pay more attention to collective life and basic life services.
