The major of sports service and management (code 660305) was declared in 2009 and approved by the Education Department of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. On October 20 10, enrollment began to be officially opened to the whole region. The major of sports service and management has been added, which has been strongly supported by the higher authorities. The educational environment, basic teaching conditions, teaching staff, professional laboratories, off-campus practice bases and other software and hardware conditions are mature. According to the actual situation, the college will integrate teaching resources, prepare to equip 12 professional teachers on campus, and employ 6 visiting professors from Beijing Sport University, Normal University and other related majors. In addition, it also co-organized an MBA master class with Beijing Sport University, and the college recommended six young teachers to engage in this major. The courses offered by sports service and management major mainly include: management, public relations, introduction to sports management, modern human resource management, entertainment and sports management, sports event management, stadium management, applied statistics, sports brokers, marketing, sports industry management, social etiquette and other courses. This major has relatively stable on-campus and off-campus internship training places. Colleges affiliated to Inner Mongolia Sports Bureau, Sports Research Institute, Team 1, Team 2 and Team 3 of Sports Work, Wuchuan Training Base of Sports Bureau, and more than a dozen fitness, entertainment and leisure clubs in Hohhot, such as Yingpaisi and Dynamic Fitness, are all internship training bases for students majoring in our college. Moreover, the experimental instruments, equipment, practice and training environment have reached the first-class standards of service and management of the first-line excellent sports teams in the autonomous region. Full-time and part-time practical training instructors are relatively stable, and their professional ability and guidance ability are relatively solid and skilled, which can guide students' practical training well. Therefore, the software and hardware conditions, such as the practice and training base inside and outside the school, are basically mature, which can meet the practice and training conditions of students of this major, give full play to the advantages of our college, and actively create various practical opportunities for students of this major.

The professional laboratory of the college covers an area of 998 square meters. Make full use of the existing four laboratories, constantly improve various experimental equipment, and build two laboratories. According to the teaching requirements, improve the establishment of human science laboratory and fitness laboratory, and invest money to purchase teaching equipment and auxiliary equipment every year. There are 5 professional experimenters in our hospital, including 3 senior experimenters and 2 lecturers. The teaching environment is elegant, and the value of experimental instruments and equipment for basic majors reaches 6.5438+0.2 million yuan. Strengthen the construction of modern teaching hardware, increase all kinds of infrastructure construction, and adopt new educational technologies such as audio-visual teaching and multimedia teaching as new teaching means to realize the modernization and diversification of teaching AIDS.

The newly-built library of the college covers an area of 4,687 square meters, including the college library and the audio-visual education center. There are more than 30,000 kinds of books available for teaching new majors, and more than 20 kinds of reference materials and periodicals available for related majors. Basically meet the needs of teachers and students of this major for books, materials reading, periodicals and references. Provide good services for teaching, scientific research, practice and training. Sports training major (professional code: 660302) has always been the main major of our college, which has delivered hundreds of high-quality professionals for the development of sports in the autonomous region. Over the past few years, through hard work, the construction of sports training specialty has been improved day by day, the number of students has increased steadily, and the teachers have become more reasonable, forming a team of teachers who meet the needs of professional teaching and training. There are 33 full-time teachers in the original major, including 6 with associate senior titles or above, 7 with "double qualifications"/kloc-0, and 20 young teachers under 40, including 4 graduate students, accounting for 20% of the total number of young teachers. There are 4 part-time teachers, all from professional training teams. They are coaches with many years of teaching, training and competition experience and outstanding achievements, accounting for more than 10%.

The setting of this major embodies the school-running characteristics of sports vocational colleges and adapts to the market demand of social economy and sports culture in our region, especially the development of competitive sports and social sports.
