Nanyang No.1 Middle School, founded in 1903, is a public middle school in charge of Nanyang Education Bureau, a demonstration ordinary high school in Henan Province, a municipal demonstration high school in Nanyang City, the first batch of comprehensive innovation high schools in Henan Province, an advanced collective in the national education system, and the first batch of Sino-Finnish cooperative innovation demonstration base schools in China.
