What I see in the gym is more about testing the distance between my opponent and myself with my right straight fist. Find a good distance, I fist directly with my right hand, then punch the opponent's other side and jaw with my left hand, and finally punch the opponent's abdomen and soft underbelly with a downward hook, swinging left and right continuously to dodge the later combination boxing. The weight of many different directions is basically unbearable for the average opponent.
