Why are young people no longer willing to enter the factory?
I am Xiao Zhiyu, and I have been engaged in manufacturing in Dongguan. Nowadays, it is more and more difficult for factories to recruit people, especially young people, and they are increasingly reluctant to work in factories.

There are many reasons, but one thing is that the strange clothes in the factory are also one of the reasons.

In the factory, you are not allowed to dress casually, and some are even very strict!

Generally speaking, there is a strict dress code for working in a factory, and small and micro enterprises basically only need to wear uniform factory clothes. Mainly large and medium-sized enterprises, especially the most widely distributed electronics factory in Dongguan. Jewelry, earrings and rings are not allowed to be worn in the demanding electronics factory workshop, and boys' watches are not allowed to enter the electronics workshop.

Large electronics factories have the strictest requirements on dress, because they are relatively sophisticated electronic equipment.

We take Dongguan Shijie Dongju Electronics Factory as an example. This is Apple's Taiwan-funded supplier, with a scale of over 10,000 people. Although the management is not as strict as that of Shenzhen Foxconn, it can be used for reference.

tattoo

No tattoos, no ear studs for boys and no more than three ear piercings for girls.

hair

Boys are not allowed to dye their hair, but girls can dye their hair, but not more than three colors and not too bright colors. And the length of boys' hair is standard.

Let's focus on the dress.

Factory dress:

You must wear uniform factory clothes for activities in the factory, and the zipper of winter clothes is not allowed to open. Summer shirts, both men and women should be tied into the belt. The sign you wear must face outwards. There are security guards in the factory who will review the dress code. Those who violate the regulations will be punished accordingly.

Dress in the workshop.

Anti-static clothes, hats and anti-static slippers are required in ordinary workshops.

But if it is in a dust-free workshop, the dress code is very strict.

Put a picture and feel it:

Wear an integrated anti-static suit, anti-static boots and a full-face hat.

Working hours, anti-static gloves or rubber fingers, and masks are all essential. That is to say, in the dust-free workshop, the whole body is wrapped up and only one eye is exposed, commonly known as "frog suit"

By the way, the length of nails is also stipulated! The length should not exceed 1MM, because long nails may scratch the surface of the product. Even more exaggerated, it is even required not to wear mascara, because mascara may fall off the product and affect the quality. However, girls who work in the workshop generally do not wear makeup during working hours.

I hope I can help you and learn more about the factory.
