Hemorrhoid is a common disease, which has many reasons, including internal and external causes. Internal causes are mainly partial defects, while external causes refer to our bad habits. The internal reasons are mainly as follows:
First, the density of arterial blood vessels. The arteries supplying rectal blood all come from the abdominal aorta, the largest blood vessel in abdominal cavity. If there is a problem with venous reflux, local veins will be congested and enlarged, forming internal hemorrhoids.
Second, it is sphincter disorder. On the way back, the local vein must pass through the rich anal sphincter group. Even at rest, these internal sphincters will maintain a certain tension, not to mention these muscles will contract repeatedly during defecation. If stimulated by inflammation, the internal sphincter will also spasm, so the internal sphincter will become one of the most important obstacles to venous return.
Third, there are vascular defects. There are venous valves in venous vessels in other parts of the human body, which are similar to the mitral and tricuspid valves of the heart and can keep the blood flowing in one direction. There is no such valve tissue in the venous plexus at the lower end of rectum, which makes the blood in the vein flow forward, lacks the corresponding power and guarantee, and is easy to cause local blood stasis.
Fourth, it is the position defect. People are in an upright position, and the anus is located at the lowest end of the whole body cavity. This place is under the greatest pressure. The anal vein flows back to the lungs and the rectal vein flows back to the liver, all of which belong to sailing against the current. If the motivation is not enough, it is easy to stay in the local area, increase the burden on local blood vessels, cause uplift and form hemorrhoids.
Everyone has these internal causes, but not everyone will get sick. The decisive factor of hemorrhoids lies in the following external factors.
First, it is the stimulation of spicy food. We all know that overeating spicy food can cause hemorrhoids, but we don't know why. Capsaicin and other ingredients contained in spicy food will stimulate the opening of vascular access of hemorrhoids and increase local blood supply, thus expanding local venous plexus and forming hemorrhoids.
Second, bad posture is an important factor among many factors, such as squatting and sitting, which will make the anus reflux and be in a more unfavorable position. It doesn't have to be too long to squat down to shit, work and take a bath. The same is true for sedentary people, such as professional drivers and IT personnel, who sit for hours or even longer, so the risk of hemorrhoids for such people will greatly increase.
Third, defecate hard. When we are constipated, we will forcibly defecate. At this time, we will hold our breath, abdomen, diaphragm drop, abdominal pressure suddenly rise sharply, and venous return is more difficult. At the same time, dry feces will squeeze blood vessels and hinder blood return.
Fourth, pregnant women, uterus and rectum are close to each other and located in front. When the fetus grows up and the uterus grows up, it will compress the rectum and make venous return difficult. According to incomplete statistics, the incidence of hemorrhoids in pregnant women is more than 30% higher than other people.
Fifth, the oppression of disease. Lower abdominal tumor, hypertension, liver cirrhosis and chronic inflammation of anorectum can all cause local venous reflux disorder. Therefore, in order to prevent hemorrhoids, we must get rid of these bad habits in life and exercise more, which can reduce the chance of hemorrhoids.
I hope it helps you.
