Abstract: In the physical education teaching of universities and middle schools in many western developed countries, game education has received extensive attention. China has carried out game courses, but there is still a lack of comprehensive and systematic understanding of the influence of game activities on students' body and mind. This paper expounds the positive influence of game education on college and middle school students and the significance of developing game education among college and middle school students.

Almost everyone played games when they were young, and even played adult games when they grew up. Because games can bring happiness to people, and make people learn to abide by rules, cooperate with each other and compete reasonably in games, games are of positive significance for cultivating some qualities and behavior habits of people. American universities have long regarded games as an educational means, allowing students to learn some social rules inadvertently in a happy experience, thus improving their social adaptability. Game education is to specially design game activities and move them into the school classroom as an educational means. Game education has attracted the attention of educational experts because of its obvious educational effect. At present, in physical education teaching in many countries, game education is listed as an important educational content and means.

It is essentially different from general physical education, and game education has its own characteristics. First of all, game education is an educational activity that is entertaining, that is, students must experience happiness in game education, which is also the motivation for students to participate in game education activities. Secondly, game education is an experiential education. At the beginning of the game, teachers usually don't preach the meaning and exercise value of the game. But tell students the rules of the game and how to complete it. After the competition, students form a group to sum up the reasons for their success or failure, and their experiences of mutual assistance, unity and cooperation. That is, experience first, then know. Doing so can make students consciously explore and deeply experience some educational values in the game, and its effect is much stronger than that of traditional teaching. Finally, games designed in game education must be competitive, which is different from competitive sports competitions. It must be a relaxed and happy game, without too much anxiety and pressure, and the result of the game does not have any utilitarian color. In the game, because students can complete activities in a relaxed and relaxed state of mind, their abilities are most easily brought into full play.

2 the status quo of game education in college and middle school physical education.

Game education first appeared in American university education, and then it was widely used in middle school education. At present, it has become an important part of the education system in developed countries. As early as after the end of World War II, many American soldiers experienced the destruction, death and distortion of human nature brought about by the war, and they had psychological problems of one kind or another. At the same time, many soldiers were disabled for life because they were injured in the war. Although the war is over, it is difficult for these people to return to a peaceful environment and lead a normal life. They are depressed and even suicidal. As an important means to heal people's war wounds, games are adopted by many communities, hospitals, rehabilitation centers and military sanatoriums in the United States. Practice has proved that this specially designed game has a great influence on the physical and mental health of these soldiers. Since then, the educational function of games has been widely concerned by educators, who began to introduce them into the classroom in physical education class.

In physical education teaching in the United States, Canada, Australia, Britain and other countries, game education has become an important means of leisure education, life education and social education. Especially for college physical education majors, game education is a compulsory course, because all teachers are trained. Students are often asked to design their own games and explain the rules of the game, the organization law and its educational significance. In some universities, tourism management, public affairs management, human resource management and other majors also regard game education as an important course to cultivate students' ability to organize, design and manage activities.

It has a long history for China's sports colleges and universities to offer sports games. The purpose of this course is also to cultivate students' ability to organize game activities. It is regarded as one of the basic skills of middle school physical education teachers. However, these game courses lack theoretical basis. 3 the educational significance of game education to students

Middle school students are at the peak of growth and development, and it is also the stage of forming world outlook, outlook on life, values and even behavior habits. In China, middle school students are still facing the pressure of senior high school entrance examination and college entrance examination, and their physical and mental burdens are heavy. These characteristics are embodied in them, which makes people pay more attention to their physical and mental health. physical education class has naturally become the main way of education to ensure their physical and mental health. The physical education goal of "healthy sports, happy sports and lifelong sports" put forward by the Ministry of Education clearly points out the direction of physical education. Students don't need to learn difficult sports skills like in the past, and they don't need to strive for excellent sports results in exams. But let them learn to experience happiness, loftiness and many life and social values in sports. Games are the best way to achieve these goals and values.

Physical education class can be a game class. We can change the basketball class into a basketball game class, that is, modify the rules and methods of basketball to make it more in line with the characteristics of the game. Carrying out aerobics teaching can not only achieve the purpose of exercising and strengthening physical fitness, but also stimulate students' interest in sports and aesthetic taste, which plays a positive role in enlightening intelligence and purifying the soul. The ultimate goal of aerobics teaching is to promote students' physical and mental development and achieve the harmonious unity of external beauty and internal beauty. Reform and opening up have provided new opportunities and challenges for current physical education. Therefore, school physical education should not only let students learn the subjects and actions they teach, but more importantly, cultivate students' physical ability during school and benefit them for life. However, the current teaching mode is "teacher teaching-student learning". In this mode, teachers only teach students various combinations and routines, and then students learn and imitate. In this way, students just learn blindly and passively according to a fixed pattern, leaving the classroom and mastering only the fixed routines taught by the teacher. Students also find learning boring. It consists of three modules: paving module, developing ability module and multi-dimensional comprehensive evaluation.
