The audience expressed their admiration and congratulations to Ma Jinfeng for her wonderful performance in those years, as well as her professionalism of being healthy and bravely climbing the peak. The Wen Yi newspaper devoted a whole page to promoting and commenting on the play and Ma Jinfeng's performance. The play won the "National Population Culture" Excellent Drama Award, and Ma Jinfeng won the "Special Honor Award".
