Still depends on environmental conditions. In summer, the fish will dry up after a while. In autumn, my grass carp jumped out one night and dried up. After putting it back in the water the next day, it can still be alive. Some time ago, one of my street sweepers jumped out one night and threw it into the fish tank the next day. At first, it floated on it, but then it was fine, except that the fins were rotten. Amazingly, this is the best fish to raise (although it is the ugliest).
