Wushu clothing can be divided into five categories according to styles: tai chi suit, Changquan, Nanquan, Mulan and Sangdao. In addition to the above-mentioned common clothes, there are also special clothes that meet the needs of film and television and stage performances, such as bat clothes and standing China samurai clothes.
1, tai chi suit
I practice Tai Chi Chuan Chuan, because the movement of Tai Chi Chuan is gentle and elegant, and the breath sinks into the abdomen. Tai chi suit is a long-sleeved shirt without a belt, which is loose and fat as a whole.
2. Long boxing suit
Practice common northern martial arts costumes such as Changquan, Xingyiquan and Bagua Palm. When shooting or kicking, the northern boxing style is mainly to shoot long shots and play far away, so as to give play to the advantage of "one inch longer and one inch stronger". Changquan clothing is a half-sleeved top with a belt, which is handsome and generous as a whole.
3. Nanquan clothing
Nanquan is a popular costume for practicing Nanquan martial arts in the south. Nanquan is characterized by steady fist, rigid fist, strong momentum, less jumping, more short fist, good at waving, improving strength with sound and qi, and paying attention to hand skills. Boxing and palm are the main means of attack, so the southern boxing suit is a sleeveless coat, leather wrist and belt, which gives people a sense of manpower as a whole.
4. Mulan clothing
In recent years, the popular clothing for practicing Mulan Boxing combines Tai Ji Chuan, Qigong, gymnastics and dance. Compared with traditional martial arts, Mulan Boxing focuses on fitness and bodybuilding. So Mulan clothing combines the characteristics of tai chi suit and modern sportswear.
5. Monk's clothing
The monks and Taoists in the temple are all empty, all sentient beings, chanting scriptures and being vegetarian. Monk's clothing is the clothing worn by monks and Taoists in temples when practicing martial arts. Simple style, simple fabric, mainly cotton and linen series, and the colors are mostly gray, black, white and khaki. For ordinary people, even if they practice Shaolin and Wudang martial arts, it is not necessary to wear them, nor is it necessary for specific occasions.
According to the purpose of wearing, it can be divided into competition performance clothes and daily fitness clothes. Competition costumes can not only meet the action requirements, but also have high-grade fabrics and novel designs, which conform to the performance content and personal temperament of martial arts performers and add points to their performances. Daily fitness clothing, in terms of clothing design and fabric selection, is not as harsh as competition performance. The important thing is to be suitable and affordable.
How to buy samurai clothes
Wushu clothing can be divided into silk fabrics, cotton fabrics, silk-like fabrics and velvet fabrics according to the common fabrics in the market. Silk fabrics absorb and release invisible moisture, sweat and secretions on the skin, which is helpful to human health. Silk fabric belongs to high-grade fabric, and its price is on the high side. When making, we should not only consider the height and posture of the wearer, but also consider the shrinkage rate of the fabric. A decent silk warrior suit is at least above 500 yuan, suitable for martial arts performances and friendly as a gift. Silk fabrics are delicate and expensive, and it is troublesome to take care of them at ordinary times, so they are not suitable for washing. Even after ironing, they can't be restored. If you wear it yourself, it is not recommended that you buy silk martial arts clothes.
Cotton fabric is soft and comfortable, breathable and sweat-wicking, static-free, and affordable, which is the first choice for personal daily wear. However, cotton-padded jacket is wrinkled, its color is dim, its visual effect is not as good as that of silk clothing, and its feel is poor, so it is not suitable for martial arts performances.
Silk-like fabrics not only have a similar appearance to real silk, but also are cheap and suitable for collective performances. However, silk-like fabrics do not have the advantages of real silk in performance, have poor air permeability, generate static electricity, and are not suitable for regular wear.
Velvet fabric, also known as real velvet, golden velvet and velveteen, is soft, thick and shiny, and it is a "new" fabric adopted by martial arts clothing manufacturers in recent years. Wearing clothes inside and velvet fabric outside is not only decent, but also warm, which is a good choice in cold weather season.
