Webasto 1997 entered the China market. The core business of China Company is to provide original automobile sunroof and automobile heating system technology and supporting services for China automobile manufacturers and China users. Webasto is a skylight supplier for major domestic automobile manufacturers. There are nearly 100 specialty stores and distributors in more than 50 cities in 0/9 provinces in China, providing users with the best services and products anytime and anywhere.

Webasto Roof System (Changchun) Co., Ltd. is the second wholly-owned enterprise established by Webasto China Company in China, mainly producing automobile sunroof products. Founded in March 2002, it moved to No.398, Fuao Road/KLOC-0, Changchun Automobile Industry Development Zone in April 2009, covering an area of 26,000 square meters. At present, the main customers are FAW-Volkswagen, FAW Car, Beijing Benz and Shenyang Brilliance. In February 2004, it passed TS 16949:2002 quality system certification, was awarded "A-level supplier" by FAW-Volkswagen in July 2005, and was awarded "Excellent Cost Control Award" by FAW-Volkswagen for two consecutive years in 2004 and 2005. In 2005, it passed the ISO/KOOC-0/400/KOOC-0/OHSAS/KOOC-0/800/KOOC-0/system certification. In 2008, it won the "Excellent Localization Award" from FAW-Volkswagen and the "Special Contribution Award" from FAW Car.
