Aerobics absorbs the characteristics of basic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics, modern dance, disco and other movements, and is a single movement, combined movement and complete set of movements that can be accepted by most people. It is novel in form, lively, rich in content, fast or slow in rhythm, and matched with harmonious music to achieve the purpose of cultivating sentiment, entertainment and fitness, which can be described as "combining fitness with entertainment".
Aerobics also has many styles: ordinary aerobics, jazz aerobics, pedal aerobics, fighting aerobics, yoga aerobics and so on.
Fitness aerobics can be divided into three categories according to the form of exercise: unarmed aerobics, light equipment aerobics and special venue aerobics.
