Duties and functions of the State Sports General Administration
(a) to study and formulate policies, regulations and development plans for sports work, and supervise their implementation. (two) to guide and promote the reform of the sports system, to define the sports development strategy, and to formulate the medium and long-term development plan for sports undertakings; Coordinate regional sports development. (three) the implementation of the national fitness plan, guide and carry out mass sports activities, implement the national physical exercise standards, and carry out national physical fitness monitoring. (four) overall planning of competitive sports development, research and balance the national sports competitions, competitive sports and key layout; Organize anti-doping work. (five) to manage sports foreign affairs and carry out international sports cooperation and exchanges with the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Macao and Taiwan Province Province; Organize to participate in and hold major international sports competitions. (6) Organizing major scientific and technological research and popularization of achievements in the field of sports. (seven) to study and formulate sports industry policies and develop the sports market; Formulate the employment conditions and approval procedures for sports business activities. (eight) to be responsible for the qualification examination of national sports associations. (nine) to undertake other tasks assigned by the State Council.
