When is Mother's Day in Korea?
South Korea's Mother's Day, or Parents' Day (Korean), is a unique legal holiday in South Korea, which is set up in a year, with special thanks to parents. Different from us, South Korea integrates Father's Day, Mother's Day and Senior Students' Day, rather than separating them independently. Koreans advocate Confucianism that "loyalty and filial piety are the foundation of human relations". As early as 1956, "parents' day" has become a habit, but it was not until 1973 that "parents' day" officially became a legal holiday in Korea. On Parents' Day, as long as children are in China, they will rush to their parents to congratulate them and give them holiday gifts. Koreans attach great importance to filial piety to the elderly. Even rise to the height of judging a person's moral standards.
