The new site of Shijiazhuang Zoo is located in the northwest of Dujiazhuang Village, Huolu Town, Luquan City, Hebei Province. Located at the junction of Taihang Mountain system and North China Plain, it belongs to hilly area. It is 0/7.5 km east of Shijiazhuang City, adjacent to Shitai Expressway in the south, connected to Bailuyuan Zhizhuang Forest Farm in the west, and connected to National Highway 307 in the north, forming a tourist belt in the west of the provincial capital with Baoduzhai, Beaulieu Lake, Fenglongshan, Cangyanshan, Tianguishan and Wuyuezhai. The landscape layout in the park is asymmetric, with the ups and downs of the hidden wind mountain as the background, and the natural scenery and artificial buildings are skillfully and organically combined. According to the terrain, the park is divided into 18 areas, such as the gate area, flamingo area, science museum (to be built), wetland bird and animal area, office area, venue area, Monkey Mountain, central service area, children's animal area, bird forest area, alpine animal area, raptor animal area, Asian animal area, African animal area, Australian animal area, liger Valley, pastoral scenery area and so on. There are 9 exhibition halls in the venue area, including Giraffe Pavilion, Elephant Pavilion, Amphibious Crawling Pavilion, Aquatic Pavilion, Panda Pavilion, Monkey Pavilion, Orangutan Pavilion, Mandrill Pavilion and Baboon Pavilion. More than 250 species of rare birds and animals are exhibited in the new park, including flamingos, golden monkeys, Siberian tigers, Asian elephants, giraffes, chimpanzees, kangaroos, seals, cassowaries, white tigers, springboks and jackals, including white tigers, flamingos, wildebeests, antelopes, white-faced wildebeests and European argali. Visual barrier-free and change of visual angle are new ideas for new garden construction. Animals 165 species, with more than 2,000 animals (only), including white rhinoceros, Asian elephant, giraffe, zebra, takin, wild donkey, jaguar, African lion, leopard, black bear, brown bear and so on. The whole park is divided into seven exhibition areas, namely, birdsong blue sky (bird area), tropical and subtropical animal area, Huaguoshan (primate area), natural forest, grassland customs (herbivore area), service and leisure area and popular science education area. The planning of the zoo is based on the theme of "harmony between man and nature, harmony between man and animals", and it is built into a space that animals are closest to the natural environment and most suitable for their survival. In the way of breeding and viewing, the closed static visit has changed into a dynamic participation mode combining captive and free-range breeding, which satisfies people's desire to get close to animals and creates a natural environment in which people and animals live in harmony. According to the functional zoning, Taiyuan Zoo is divided into six scenic spots, namely "Small World" specially designed for children, "Hundred Flowers Garden" for planting various flowers, "Huaguo Mountain" for raising macaques, "Bird Blue Mountain" for waterfowl lake, Hundred Flowers Garden and Peacock Garden, "Grassland Style" for raising herbivores such as wild donkeys and ostriches, and Woong San and Lion Hall.
