Through the contact of limbs, they use the method of "sticking without breaking their heads" to practice the sensitivity of whole body skin touch and internal reflection in mutual restraint, and experience and taste what the ancients called "the theory of yin and yang resisting, the wonderful change of combining rigidity with softness", thus obtaining a kind of kung fu called "enlightenment".

In fact, it is waiting for the rabbit and waiting for the beating-this training mode cannot be adhered to by fast, accurate and fast soldiers. If you can't get started, you can't learn. Tai Ji Chuan has both advantages and disadvantages. It's really a way to die by doing nothing. Some people think that his fist is as fast as lightning, and he pays attention to "no fighting, no fighting, only one punch", so Tai Chi Chuan, which is soft in the middle and firm in the middle, is out of reach. Some people say that Tai Ji Chuan has reached the depth of his internal skill, and he "covers it up", while others say "Don't recruit or fight, just take a look", but the author doesn't think so. At present, Tai Ji Chuan's pushers pay more attention to the dead step than the live step, only pushing and not hitting, which is also a serious problem that is not conducive to actual combat.
I have seen many videos of pushing hands on the Internet, most of which are motionless pushing hands, and some are simple in footwork, only pushing but not hitting. Wandering around at will, flying around with all one's strength, twisting, drilling, falling, and hitting at the same time, it is called Tai Chi Sanshou (hitting), which has not been seen so far (author's press: it may be that the door is secret and difficult to show people; May also be guangling scattered, long lost). Therefore, it is difficult to fight against other boxing methods, such as jumping, avoiding reality and playing virtual, as fast as lightning, and paying attention to the strength of the blow.

Taijiquan is easy and gentle, with boxing as the stake, which means that the spirit is strong to a certain extent, practicing enlightenment, being able to "seek softness, be unwilling to be rigid", "seek looseness, be unwilling to be tight" and "seek looseness, be unwilling to be quick", so that there is yang in the yin, yin in the yang, yin and yang are combined, opening and closing are orderly, and the truth and falsehood are clear, and both rigidity and flexibility are combined. Then continue to unify the body with the body, enrich the pusher with the boxing frame, and verify the boxing frame with the pusher, so as to know yourself and yourself. The above lists four sticking points that Tai Ji Chuan is not conducive to actual combat. As for the shortage of teachers and professionals who are proficient in Tai Ji Chuan's fighting skills, scientific and modern Tai Ji Chuan's actual combat theory and training system have not yet formed, and those who practice Tai Ji Chuan are older. 3 Tai Chi Chuan's fighting style.

In actual combat in Tai Ji Chuan, most people who open doors wave the pipa (or raise their hands, the same below). As Jin said in "wudang boxing's Secret": "Before and after parting your feet, the two strands are tightly clamped, and you can turn around at will. Elbows are attached to both sides, so that your hair can be hit outside, and you can clap at three o'clock (referring to the tip of your nose, the tip of your hand and your toes) and make your feet at three o'clock. All boxers often use this trend as a door opener in actual combat, and so does western boxing, except that Tai Ji Chuan's trend is called playing the pipa, and his boxing has been given different names.
In actual combat, Taiji Chuan used the pipa as a door opener. The reason is that this situation is flexible and changeable. All the potentials in Tai Ji Chuan can be instantly synthesized through this situation, such as the horizontal hand, the cloud hand, the elbow hand, the knee-hugging hand, the monkey-kicking hand, the sitting hand, the diving hand and the bright-winged hand.
There is a heroic and cautious saying in Wulin that "if you advance, you will live; if you retreat, you will die". Tai Ji Chuan pays more attention to "grabbing the hind foot with the front foot and guarding the platform with the rear foot" and "beating people like kissing, holding hands to the body". Most of his fists advance and retreat quickly, and he is used to hitting people with his legs. The disadvantage is that the attack and defense are clear, and you can't hit it. It takes a lot of effort to retract your legs and change your fists before hitting. Taiji Chuan is good at understanding strength, which makes the enemy become "unintentional and intentional, but can't do whatever it takes". The disadvantage is that he must stick to the enemy, otherwise he will lose both strength and strength, and he will take advantage of the enemy. Tai Chi Chuan waved the pipa and opened the door. "Hands start from the side of the leg and gently move to the side." Spin dry, turn Kun around with the enemy, Yang Chang avoids short and expensive, and is trapped in close range. If you can persist, you can give full play to your knowledge and skills and stick to the enemy. The enemy's shortcomings exist. Tai Ji Chuan shook hands with the enemy by waving the pipa. Once those who are proficient in kung fu meet (stick to) the enemy, the enemy can't escape. The endless change of the word "Shun" is enough to make him fall into the fog and feel at a loss: the enemy retreats and I drift with the tide, and "chasing the wind and chasing the moon" is at the same speed; When the enemy advances, we follow the trend and "lead cattle into the fence" at the same speed; When the enemy kicks, I follow the trend that the leg will raise my body back and step into my heel at the same speed. When the enemy squatted down to attack my tibia, I squatted down at the same speed and put my hands under my feet; The enemy fled sideways, and I drifted with the tide, and my left and right hands beat their roots at the same speed; The enemy and we are very close (sticky), and my wrists are constrained by each other, so I can't move them manually. The so-called "if not far away, the backhand will make up for the sudden wind" until the enemy completely loses its resistance (the author presses: The "synchronous constant speed" mentioned here refers to the same speed, the same time and the same direction as the opponent's strength. Only when the speed is constant can we "get the upper hand" and "follow the trend" ... Sun Tzu said, "A good fighter can harm others, but not himself." In actual combat, Tai Ji Chuan must assess the situation, decisively attack it unprepared, attack its key points and attack its weaknesses, and never cling to the dogma of "static braking". When the enemy is in a dynamic situation, only by "letting him go and never letting him go" can we give full play to his potential and strength, that is, "using his Tao to control his merits". Pushing hands is the main means to acquire fighting skills, and it is the skill training of fighting in actual combat; Actual combat is the purpose of fighting skill training, and it is the improvisation and application of pushers. Pushing hands is more delicate than actual combat, and technical changes are complicated; Actual combat is rougher and simpler than pushing hands, and it is extremely difficult to play. For beginners, the speed of pushing hands should be slow rather than fast. "Chew slowly" has high resolution and is easy to master. Practice to a certain extent can be fast or slow. Boxing theory says "hurry is fast, slow is slow", that is, it can be as slow as ten points or as fast as ten points. The advantage of actual combat is to make a quick decision, pursue immediate results without hesitation, and need to synchronize with the opponent at the same speed, fast but not slow ...
Push hands to enrich actual combat skills and test actual combat level. The higher the skill of pushing hands, the higher the probability of winning in actual combat, which is in direct proportion.
Boxing, pushing hands, understanding and actual combat, the methods and purposes of which have their own emphases and characteristics, are all essential links in Tai Ji Chuan's boxing. Among them, boxing routine is the foundation, pushing hands is the training means, understanding strength is the core and leading, and actual combat is the test of practice.
