With the help of the villagers, Nan Laohan buried his daughter, took the baby eagle home, treated it carefully, and was soon cured. On this day, the old man picked up the baby eagle and said to it, "Your wound is healed, and no matter what kind of poisonous snake is your opponent in the future." The old man came home with nanguo pear in his arms, and planted pears on the hillside around the tomb of the girl in the south. Soon the pears sprouted and grew into small pear trees. In the autumn of the third year, the trees were covered with pears, which were as beautiful, delicious and fragrant as before, so "Nanguo Pear" became a specialty of Haicheng.
