Hilton Dali Hotel:

Venue: Dali, Yunnan

Design company: WATG Sidi International

Resort Hotel is located in Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, between Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake, adjacent to the national scarce landscape. It is a landmark building developed by Yunnan Shilipai Group, managed by Hilton Hotel Company and jointly built by CCDI and Watt. The plus or minus zero elevation of this project is 2 12 1.00 meters above sea level, covering an area of about 85,000 square meters, with a total construction area of nearly 90,000 square meters. Including the main building of a hotel, 1 1 villa, with 5 floors above ground and 4 floors underground, including the podium 1 floor, the hotel room area is up to 9 floors and the highest building is 32 meters. Dali is a minority area dominated by Bai people, who account for more than 65% of the local population. As the first international five-star resort hotel in Dali, the hotel is located near Cangshan Geopark in Dali, halfway up the mountain, and is located in the most distinctive Bai architectural complex in Nanzhao ancient country. In order to increase the privacy and exclusive feeling of the hotel, the road to and from the hotel winds between the main building and Cangshan Mountain on the west side. From west to east, the main axis of landscape closely connects buildings, squares, boulevards, greening and landscape sketches, and slowly extends outward to Erhai Lake in the form of pedestrian walkways, so that each monomer has its own unique field and is hidden in the mountains. BIM whole process management enables designers to break away from traditional drawing methods, thus having more control over the extraction and integration of concepts. The two sides extending towards Erhai Lake are hotel rooms, and the atrium is close to Cangshan Mountain, which is the functional area of the hotel. Designers learn from the spatial layout of Bai folk houses, such as "one vertical and two ears", "two rooms and one ear", "four entrances and five patios" and "walking around the turret". The sloping wall at the top of the slope, while the two buildings are perpendicular to each other, a smaller wing is arranged at the vertical intersection as a connection. Supplemented by the corridor on the upper floor, all the connected buildings descend from Cangshan and slowly spread out, and their permeability and coherence have been strengthened.

Located in the atrium lobby, the lighting is transparent, spacious and bright. In order to create a hospitable atmosphere for the Bai people, the rest area welcomes tourists with a unique decorative fireplace. Specially treated tile-eaves skirts, lintel flowers and Xiangyun decorations run through the top of the lobby, and every little detail has a strong national flavor. Hotels also use this project to promote the development of local society together with the surrounding formats. The best location in the whole hotel is reserved for the outdoor terrace. Standing on the terrace, overlooking Cangshan Erhai Lake, the Bai folk houses with white walls and black tiles, the green hills and trees intersect and echo, making people feel like they are in a paradise. In spare time, the hotel provides bars, swimming pools, gyms, bath centers and other leisure and entertainment places for passengers to choose from. A series of flexible meeting spaces and courtyard open areas are also ideal places for product launches, business meetings, social gatherings and weddings. There are 386 rooms around the main building, each with its own balcony and a wide view. The room layout is a common hilton style, without too much decoration and color, simple and clean but not cold and cheerless. Waking up in the morning with the first sunshine of Erhai Lake is one of the most wonderful experiences provided by Hilton Dali. The facade of the hotel is made of stone rich in Dali, and the decoration design concept is based on the traditional patterns of Bai nationality. The combination of wooden roof and metal plate not only ensures the function, but also realizes a simple and cordial holiday mood. The overall style is harmonious with the natural scenery and full of poetry. The exterior walls are mostly painted with white (lime) and gray (fine mud), and the interior walls are made of raised blue bricks to form colorful three-dimensional patterns, or marble is inlaid with natural landscape patterns, showing a fresh and elegant taste.
