After reading this chart, most people will focus on the western region, thus thinking that the theme of the chart is "the western region accounts for almost half of the profits."

However, that's not necessarily what the cartographer wants you to pay attention to. He or she may want you to notice that "the northern region generates the smallest share of profits".

Therefore, if the current title is used, there is a risk of misunderstanding, so change the title to "the minimum profit output value in the northern region" or mark the northern region with different colors. This risk can be reduced, and the reader can focus on the data we want him to pay attention to.

So from this picture, we can actually see four points:

1, the number of contracts has increased.

2. The contract quantity has been fluctuating.

In March and August, the number of contracts reached its peak.

4. The number of contracts decreased twice in 8 months.

What point do you want to emphasize? The audience is not clear. You need to choose a theme you want to express as the title of the chart.

Therefore, I will think that "straightness" in intuition means to express information directly, "view" means that the chart you choose should be suitable for the information you want to express (you can read an article about chart selection in this part), which means that you don't finish making the chart, but emphasize the point you want to express through the title, color and so on.

In my opinion, intuition may be more important than looking good.
