You said you should run on the treadmill for at least 30 minutes every time you go to the gym, and then do some strength.
How long have you been at the gym? If it takes more than a week, the body will adapt.
You'd better extend your running time to your original 30 minutes. You can jog, walk, run and stop to sweat, because the best way to lose weight is to stay in the gym as long as possible, not let you stay there to rest!
After getting off the treadmill, you can push N groups of chest shoulders and back shoulders. Lightweight, more times. In the gym, the coach will tell you the simplest moves, free of charge. I can't tell you those moves here.
The same is true of sit-ups, but don't do hundreds of times a day and don't want to move the next day. That won't do.
Losing weight must rely on persistence.
Remember that strength training must be light and heavy, and long muscles will grow muscles.
