Huashan Children's Park is located at Huashan Road 1575. In front of the park, except Huashan Road, there are houses all around. The garden site used to be a barren commons, but it became an informal garbage dump in the early days of liberation. 1950, the garden management office of the municipal public bureau turned this place into a park. The garden construction project started on June 12 of that year and was opened to the public on May 1952.

When the garden was first built, there was only one pavilion in the garden building, including the management room and toilet, with a construction area of no more than 60 square meters. 1972 The local residents' committee in Chenjiaxiang has set up a small library for primary and middle school students to borrow in the management room of the park. 1973, the garden department allocated 7000 yuan to buy some children's play facilities, and the appearance was improved. 1982 allocated 16900 yuan to build a new hexagonal pavilion, with 29.4 square meters of management room, 280 square meters of colored tile floor and cement pavement. 1983 at the beginning of the second quarter, the renovation project was completed, and Zhou Gucheng, vice chairman of the National People's Congress Standing Committee (NPCSC), wrote the garden sign. In June of the same year, International Children's Day was reopened, and children who are 1 1 .2 meters tall and adults accompanying children under1meter can enter the park free of charge.

Park green area 1900 square meters, accounting for 70.37% of the total area. The plants planted constitute a fresh environment in the park, which is deeply loved by small tourists. There are three cedars at an altitude of 10 m in the east center of the park, and seven camphor trees at an altitude of 15 m in the northeast of the park, and the DBH of some tree species is 150 cm. The height of 22 Platanus acerifolia plants in the garden is about 20 meters, and the DBH is 1.5 1.6 meters. There are about 33 kinds of trees in the park, covering more than 85%.

Children's playgrounds are located on the northern and southern edges. The site in the south covers an area of about140m2, with boat swings with metal guardrails, panda slides and seesaws. The north site covers an area of about 90 square meters, with an elephant slide and a monkey climbing frame.

1999, Changning Garden Management Office, which belongs to the park, invested more than 800,000 yuan to rebuild Huashan Children's Park, built a new management room of 100 square meter, rebuilt the original hexagonal pavilion and colored terrace, set up a cobblestone fitness trail about 90 meters long around the tree altar in the center of the park, and equipped with stainless steel railings of the same length, and all children's facilities were updated. In greening, on the basis of retaining the original trees and flowering shrubs, a variety of flowering shrubs are added, which makes the park look brand-new and harmonious with the surrounding environment and the newly rebuilt Huashan Road.
