According to Ctrip, Tianhe Daguan Wetland Park is a free and open natural park. The park is characterized by artificial wetlands, which are used for landscape purification and sports and fitness. It is mainly divided into three functional areas, namely, Baihua Valley Fitness Area in the upper reaches, Xintang Reservoir Sightseeing Area in the middle reaches, Ecological Valley Area in the lower reaches and leisure facilities. The park is a pilot project of "sponge city" in Guangzhou. Based on the theory of "sponge city", the rainwater in the site and surrounding areas is comprehensively controlled and utilized to form urban rainwater wetland corridors and submerged green spaces.
