Blind Detective is a China film produced by Universal Asia Film Company and directed by Du Qifeng and Wei Jiahui. It was released simultaneously in Chinese mainland and Hongkong on July 4th, 20 13. Blind Detective is the fourth collaboration between Du Qifeng, Andy Lau and Sammi Cheng after ten years, following Lonely Men and Few Women, Slimming Men and Women and Dragon and Phoenix Fight. The story happened in the early 1990s. In Hong Kong, a young girl goes missing every year and can't be found again. Xiao Min, a friend of policeman A Tong, also suffered this misfortune. Ten years later, by chance, A Tong met the once "god of solving crimes", but now he has become a blind man, Johnston. The two men explored the case together and finally found the clue after going through all kinds of hardships.
