"beriberi post" is a letter. The whole post reads: "I have been suffering from beriberi swelling since April, so I didn't leave for the north, but I never forgot my ears." Mo Bao's "Song Pu" contained in "The First Collection of Shiqu Baodi" is one of them. The original work was published in Volume 16 of the bound volume of Forbidden City Weekly.
