Word page setup (paper size, margins, header and footer)
When using Word to process documents, page setup is a very important operation. By setting parameters such as page size, margins, headers and footers, the document can be more beautiful and standardized. This article will introduce you to the detailed steps of Word page setup.

First, open the Word page setup.

First, open the Word document, click the Page Layout tab, and then click the Page Setup button, as shown in the following figure:

Second, set the page size.

In the Page Setup dialog box, we can set the page size. The default page size of Word is A4 paper, but if you need to change the page size, you can choose another paper size in the Page Size drop-down menu, or click More Paper Options to customize the settings. As shown in the figure below:

Third, set the margins.

Setting margins is also a very important operation. In the Page Setup dialog box, we can set the margin sizes in the up, down, left and right directions. The default margin size of Word is 2.54 cm, but if you need to change the margin size, you can manually enter the value or click the up and down arrows to fine-tune. As shown in the figure below:

Fourth, set the header and footer.

In Word documents, headers and footers can be used to display information such as the title, author and page number of the document. In the Page Setup dialog box, we can set the position, content and format of the header and footer. As shown in the figure below:

Five, set the page direction

In the Page Setup dialog box, we can set the page orientation. The default page orientation of Word is portrait, but if you need to change the page orientation, you can choose landscape from the page orientation drop-down menu. As shown in the figure below:

Six, save the page settings

After setting the page size, margins, headers and footers, and page orientation, click OK to save the page settings. If you need to apply the current page settings to the whole document, you can select the "Apply to the whole document" option. As shown in the figure below:
