Stories and legends about Gao Liyan's cemetery have been circulated among the people for a hundred years. Gao Liyan was an official in the Ming Dynasty. He once assisted Gao Liyan's official career in the Three Dynasties. He was a prominent official and an old man, which was even more rare and amazing.

Although Gao's genealogy and county annals are recorded in history books, the inscription recording him has not been lost because of the torrent of time, which has become a regret to prove history.

Gaoeryan cemetery site is located in the east depression of Gaojialou Village, six miles south of Jinghai County. Most of these players don't know Gaojialou Village. As a villager, I have an obligation to be a guide in this reconnaissance. Along the way, I kept in touch with my teammates from different places of residence for fear that they would go the wrong way. But when teammate Zhao Yi drove me to Dongwa Village, I found that my teammates Zhou Xiao, Xiao Liu, Lao Xing and the youngest teammate Li Jiayang all ran in the first place. These people are really qualified members of the "Jinghai Memory" team!

When four cars drove into Gaoeryan cemetery in turn, I got off and introduced the general location of the cemetery. Due to the changes of the times, the scene of the cemetery site at this time has exceeded the expectations of previous teammates. Bleak fields, greenhouses and farms are adjacent, ditches are up and down, weeds are defeated, and wolves are sad. Where is the atmosphere of a huge grave?

And when I led them to a ditch with tombstones and stones scattered everywhere behind a greenhouse, everyone's expressions suddenly became excited, "Hey!" "Here's a piece!" "Look, here comes another one!" Lao Xing, who came prepared in advance, took a brand-new steel pick specially brought for archaeology, and Zhou Xiao took turns planing a stone tablet with some dirt exposed. Zhou Xiao concluded that there must be handwriting on the other side of the slate. Teammate Xiao Liu Shanchang took photos. At this time, he excitedly picked up the camera and kept taking pictures. Other teammates, some with small iron bars, some cleaned the frozen soil on the stone tablet by hand, hoping to tear it apart and see the complete face of the monument immediately. But there is no weighing tool, so we can only stop helplessly in the frozen soil package.

At this time, Zhao, a villager who was eager to help find the stone tablet, heard the news. He said that in his impression a few years ago, there was a complete monument on Donggou slope, and the inscription was very clear. After listening to this, everyone's excitement suddenly rose, and they followed his guidance and went to Donggou to look for it. However, due to the accumulation of ditch soil and thick frozen soil, this stone tablet was not found.

In the past, the graves in Gorjan Cemetery were so big that you could see them from miles away. The tomb is wide, with stone tablets, blue bricks on the vault, hanging coffins with iron rings, five oil cylinders and burning grass, which grow brightly all year round. Unfortunately, the courtier's grave was dug up and destroyed in the 1970s.

When people's interest in exploration was still unfinished, I led them to a sheepfold. Here is a complete tombstone. After listening to this, the teammates went gladly, regardless of the thorns under their feet and the bumps in the field. The head of this monument lies flat on the dirty ground of the sheepfold, trapped in the frozen soil below, and it is difficult to turn it up to see the whole picture. Li Jiayang said, "Turn it over and look at the back." Zhou Xiao and George W. Liu Ye insisted on erecting the monument, which aroused everyone's curiosity. Xiao Liu put down the camera, and Zhao Yi borrowed a big pick and broom to take a picture of the monument. Li Jiayang waved a pick to dig a nest, and Lao Xing picked an elm stick as a crowbar at the edge of the sheepfold. Then several people began to work together, squeezing and moving, and it took a lot of effort to turn this flat head nearly one meter square and more than 20 centimeters thick. After turning, it surprised the teammates. Over the past 300 years from the Ming Dynasty to the present, the dragon patterns have been carved as clear as new, especially the head of Erlong's play beads, which is engraved with the word "imperial edict".

According to Gao's genealogy, Gao Yanyan's son died and was buried with his father in this tomb. Where is the inscription that records the content of "death"? The teammates were panting, the fields looked around, and in silence, all the mysteries rose in their hearts. Finally, Zhou Xiao proposed to prepare a few steel bars in the near future, and then come here when the frozen soil thaws in the near future for a detailed exploration.
