Qiuyun has two roofs, the highest peak is Yuhuangding at an altitude of 1629 m, and the ancestor's top at an altitude of 1330 m. Under normal circumstances, you can climb the Jade Emperor's Peak. If you have good physical strength, you can choose to look at both roofs. Climb the Jade Emperor Top first, then go down to the land temple halfway up the mountain, and then climb the ancestral top.
Finally, after passing through Yu Lian Cave, you can go down the mountain in the ancient village of Tarbu. If you are tired on the way up and down the mountain, you can choose to take the cable car and cableway. Of course, there are all kinds of fun and exciting projects on the mountain, including bungee jumping, trapeze, glass bridges and amazing natural ice caves. I don't think it's enough to come to Qiu Yun once, at least two or three times.
Tarpo village is an ancient village with a history of thousands of years, which is well preserved on Qiuyun Mountain. It is said that it has a history of more than 2500 years. It was named after Laozi wandering here, and later Taoism became famous one after another. Qiuyun Mountain has become a training ground for seeking eternal life and asking questions.
Taoists practice in the mountains and live in caves on Tapo. Later, this place was resold to local villagers, and gradually formed a village, renamed Tarpo Village. Now it has developed into an ancient village with modern commercial flavor. Teahouses, restaurants, farmhouses, blacksmiths, weaving workshops, cloth dyeing workshops, tofu workshops and pepper workshops are located in it, and walking on the village road seems to be back to childhood. Inadvertently, the experience hall in front can bring you many surprises. For example, the museum of marriage customs allows you to feel the local marriage customs and understand the previous cave culture.
Besides climbing mountains, Qiu Yun can also learn about Taoist culture, which will also add some different fun to the mountaineering trip. On most mountain peaks in southern Shaanxi, Taoist culture is highly respected, and Qiu Yun is no exception. It is a veritable sacred mountain of Taoism, and the Jade Emperor is enshrined at the highest peak, which also symbolizes that you have reached the nearest place to heaven.
The second peak is dedicated to Zhenwu Emperor, with 36 steps, representing 36 paradise in Taoism. The steps are steep, over 70 degrees. On the way from the foot of the mountain to the top of the mountain, you have to pass Tianmen, Ertianmen and Santianmen. Eternal Gate is the first stop of hiking, which is equivalent to the worse gate in heaven. If you continue to climb the mountain, it will be two days. The temple is dedicated to the four heavenly kings, and then the three heavenly doors are dedicated to the four gods of wind, rain and lightning. Finally, you can climb 99 steps from Santianmen to the top of your ancestors.
There is also a Jade Curtain Cave in Qiu Yun, which is a Taoist temple on the cliff. This is where Sanqing Hall and Taoist priests live. After climbing Qiu Yun, you can learn some Taoist culture. Putting aside faith is actually a cultural experience. Mountain climbing and entertainment are relaxing things. If you always feel tired when climbing mountains and expensive when playing, it's really not a good feeling. Maybe the real love is still a few people.
