In China, we prefer noodles, rice and jiaozi as main courses. We like to cook many delicious dishes, and then we set the table, put the dishes on the table, sit together and taste the dishes together. We don't eat separate plates. When we eat, we like to chat and laugh. We think it is warm and happy to eat like this. But in Britain or other western countries, people like to eat hamburgers, French fries, pizza and pasta as their main courses. They eat vegetable salad, they eat drinks (water or juice), and they eat on separate plates. In China, when we eat all the food, we will become full, and then we will eat nothing, but in western countries, people will have dessert after dinner.
As a China person, I prefer the food culture in China, because China people have more choices. Besides pork, steak and mutton, which westerners often eat, China people can also eat the meat of rabbits, snakes, deer and other wild animals. Apart from foie gras, westerners seldom eat viscera, but China people do. Although eating too much intestines is bad for my health, I still like Chinese food.
