The first thing is to choose a good variety. You can directly choose to feed Belgian rabbits, Saibei rabbits, Harbin rabbits, New Zealand rabbits, California rabbits and other large and medium-sized rabbits. If conditions permit, it is best to cross the above-mentioned improved male rabbits with local female rabbits, so that the offspring rabbits produced will have more obvious growth advantages.
Grasp the weaning transition period. Strengthen the nutrition of the mother rabbit before weaning, improve its lactation ability, and feed the young rabbit early to ensure that the weight of the young rabbit reaches more than 500 grams 30 days after weaning. The best way to wean is to move the mother and keep the young, that is, the young rabbits are still raised in the original cage and nest. If the cage is tight, change the cage, at least don't separate from the rabbit. Fattening should be carried out in small groups, not a rabbit in a cage, nor a large group regardless of nest type and age, which will make young rabbits feel lonely, strange and even afraid. Feed 65438 before weaning+0 ~2 weeks after weaning, and then gradually transition to fertilizer.
Carry out linear fattening. Because the fattening period of meat rabbits is very short, it only takes about 60 days from weaning (30 days) to slaughter. Therefore, we must change the traditional way of fattening in rural areas in the past and implement "one bamboo shoot" linear fattening. After weaning, young rabbits should not be fed with green feed and roughage, but should maintain a high nutritional level to ensure the nutritional needs of young rabbits for rapid growth. Proper use of additives. In addition to meeting the main nutritional requirements of fattening rabbits such as energy, protein and fiber, additives can also be used appropriately.
Create a good environment. Fattening effect depends largely on temperature, humidity, density, ventilation, light and many other environments. The temperature is 25℃ and the humidity is 55%~65%. The density depends on the temperature and ventilation conditions. Under good ventilation conditions, 15 ~ 18 rabbits can be raised in each square meter cage. In fattening period, weak light or darkness is used, so that only rabbits can see feeding and drinking water.
