Problem description:
Show me! ! !
Analysis:
Let's talk about the difference between Mahayana Buddhism and Hinayana Buddhism, because they are different in treating this problem.
1. About 1 century, Buddhism was divided into Mahayana Buddhism and Hinayana Buddhism, which means direction or road. The main difference between them lies in their different interpretations and understandings of Buddhist teachings.
Hinayana, maintaining the fundamentalism, taking Sakyamuni as the leader and Agama as the main sutra;
Mahayana, on the other hand, is a revision and development of the original doctrine. It holds that there are countless Buddhas in the top ten sects of the Third World, Mahayana considers itself orthodox, and Mahayana considers itself innovative.
2.( 1) The meaning of Buddha
Buddha, the abbreviation of Buddha, means awareness, awareness and knowledge. Buddhism believes that awareness has three meanings: self-awareness, other people's awareness (awakening all beings) and complete awareness. Among them, the perfection of awareness is the highest realm of Buddhist practice, and Buddha is the awakened one who reaches this highest realm. In addition, the Buddha mentioned in Hinayana Buddhism is generally a respectful name for Sakyamuni; Besides Sakyamuni, Mahayana Buddhism also refers to all fully conscious people.
(2) Classification of Buddha
A. Sakyamuni's three-body Buddha, Dharma Buddha in the middle; Report Buddha, left; Be a Buddha, on the right.
B. Three Buddhas, as Buddhism says, are in the past, present and future.
Horizontal III Buddha (the pharmacist Buddha in the pure glass world in the East is on the left, the Buddha Sakyamuni in the Nuwa world is in the middle, and the Buddha Amitabha in the western paradise is on the right) and vertical III Buddha (the Buddha Sakyamuni now, the burning Buddha in the past, and the Maitreya Buddha in the future).
Note: 1. Buddha Sakyamuni served Manjusri Bodhisattva on the left and Pu Xian on the right, collectively known as the "Three Buddhas".
2. The pharmacist Buddha serves the Sunlight Bodhisattva on the left and the Moonlight Bodhisattva on the right, which are collectively called "Three Sages of the East" or "Three Pharmacists".
3. Amitabha is the leader of the Western Heaven, who serves Guanyin Bodhisattva on the left and Bodhisattva on the right, collectively known as "Three Saints of the Western Heaven" or "Three Saints of Amitabha".
3. Bodhisattva
It is the yogi who has only reached the two realms of self-awareness and awareness of others, but has not yet reached the perfection of awareness, and needs to achieve Buddha's fruit in the future. Manjusri Bodhisattva, Samantabhadra Bodhisattva, Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva and Earth-hidden Bodhisattva are often worshipped in temples.
4. Lohan
The full name of Arhat, that is, self-nature, is the third in Mahayana Buddhism, lower than Buddha and Bodhisattva, while in Hinayana Buddhism, Arhat is the highest fruit that can be achieved by practice. Buddhism believes that getting Siraitia grosvenorii, that is, breaking all troubles, should be supported by heaven and man, and there will be no reincarnation of life and death.
