Matters needing attention in figure 8 winding method:
Precautions for bandage dressing method: before dressing the scroll bandage, treat the affected area and place the dressing. When dressing, spread the bandage outside, turn your back to the affected part, and bandage it while spreading it. No matter what kind of dressing form, it should start and end in a circular shape, with moderate tightness and smoothness. Finally, cut the end of the bandage in half and tie a flat knot to fix it.
The knot should be hit on the opposite side of the affected part, not on the affected part. Some bandages don't need to be tied and fixed, but they can be fixed by themselves after dressing. Splint bandage and plaster bandage are brake bandages, which are mainly used for first aid and treatment of limb fractures, severe joint sprains and tendon rupture. The splint can be made of bamboo board, wood board, branches, cardboard, etc. The splint can be prepared according to the length, thickness and shape of the affected part. Both ends of the splint should be slightly bent outward to avoid local compression.
Before dressing, it should be treated. After the broken bone end is reset and the wound is treated, 3-4 layers of tape are spirally wound, and the depression is leveled, and it is fixed with a carpet pad and splint and tied with thin iron wire or string. Fillers should be properly filled, too much fixation is unreliable, and too little will cause oppression.
