Can diet pills pass the customs?
Legal analysis: In the recent incident of illegally bringing diet pills into the country, the diet pills brought into the country by tourists from Thailand are colored granular tablets, which are packed in plastic bags according to the daily dosage. They are small in size, distributed in cosmetics, health care products, personal belongings and other items, and it is difficult to be found, but they still can't escape the attention of customs law enforcement officers. According to the customs officer of Nanning Wuxu Airport, in recent years, with the intervention of social media in the field of e-commerce, the short-term weight-loss effect of Thai diet pills has been continuously amplified by the experience sharing of some "online celebrity" buyers and people who don't know the truth, and it has been sought after by a large number of young women in China, and the drug price has soared, but its side effects have never been mentioned at all. The customs reminded that it is forbidden to bring intoxicating narcotic drugs and psychotropic drugs into the country. Inbound passengers should not bring psychotropic drugs into the country at will to avoid "stepping on the thunder".

Legal basis: Article 5 of the Measures for the Administration of Drug Import. Imported drugs must obtain the Registration Certificate of Imported Drugs or relevant licenses issued by the State Administration of Pharmaceutical Products. To import psychotropic drugs, you must also obtain the Import Permit for Psychotropic Drugs issued by the State Administration of Medical Supplies. According to the relevant regulations of the State Administration of Pharmaceutical Products and the General Administration of Customs, any unit that imports (exports) psychotropic drugs by any means of trade must obtain a license for whatever purpose.
