How to operate cage fish culture?
The operation and management of cage fish culture mainly includes fish stocking, feeding, checking net clothes, washing boxes, preventing strong wind, preventing theft and catching nets.

This paper talks about how to operate cage fish culture and the main contents of its daily management for reference.

I. Fish stocking

After the cage is set for 3-7 days, fish can enter the cage.

The general method is to put the fish in the cabin or in a small cage filled with water and bring it to the cage area, then pick it up with a fishing rod and put it directly into the cage.

The fish must be neat and healthy, and 1 box must be released at one time.

Summer flower fingerlings must undergo netting training before entering the box. Large-sized fish species are best cultured in cages. This species has fast adaptation, high survival rate and good growth effect.

Second, the feeding method

There are two ways to feed fish: returning fish manually and feeding fish mechanically.

Artificial hand feeding, that is, throwing the feed into the water by hand, can clearly see the actual feeding situation of fish, and can flexibly control the feeding amount of each pond and cage to realize fine feeding, which is conducive to improving feed efficiency.

Mechanical feeding, that is, feeding with automatic feeder.

This method can be timed, quantified and located, and it also has the advantages of saving labor and time.

Third, cage inspection

Carefully check 1-2 times before putting into the cage, and check the net clothing 1 time every 5- 10 days after the fish enters the cage. If damage is found, it should be repaired in time.

It is best to check it every morning or evening.

Before the strong wind blows, check the key parts of the cage, such as frames, piles, ropes, etc. , found that any weak links should be repaired in time.

Check and repair after the wind to ensure safety.

4. A large number of organisms such as green mud moss will be attached to the cage shortly after the attachment is removed. They often breed in high temperature season, blocking the mesh and affecting the exchange of water. Therefore, it is necessary to try to remove them.

Generally, tilapia, carp and crucian carp are kept in cages. Because these fish can scrape the algae attached to the net, the net will not be blocked.

Other cages should be cleaned about 10 days 1 time.

The removal method is as follows:

1, manual washing method.

That is, rinse directly in water by hand or brush with a root brush.

2. Mechanical flushing method.

That is, spray water with a water gun or submersible pump.

3. Biological removal method.

That is, keeping a small amount of tilapia, carp, crucian carp, fine-scaled fish and other fish in the box can scrape off the algae attached to the net, thus keeping the net clean.

Verb (abbreviation of verb) cleaning and collecting cages After fishing, you must remove the cages and clean them, then save them, and pay attention to preventing them from being bitten by rats, especially avoiding exposure to the sun.

Six, combined wintering for fish species or fish that can not meet the market specifications, you can combine caissons for wintering. When caisson is used, anchor cable is tied with sinking stones, and the cage is repeatedly sunk into water1-2m below the water surface.

The distance between the cage and the sediment should not be less than 1m, and the stocking density should be 6- 10kg/m2.
