The first five branches of the eight branches of yoga are external branches, and the last three branches are internal branches. The first two branches are about moral respect for Buddhism, and the last six branches are about practicing respect for Buddhism. Through the practice of the last six branches, you can gain various magical powers, such as insight into other people's inner activities, invisibility, knowing your predecessor and so on. There are five sources of supernatural power: nature, herbs, Sanskrit, asceticism and three flavors.
If the practitioner finally gets rid of the magical power, that is, Buddhism can be produced by eliminating all karma, troubles and impurities, she can destroy everything and free people.
The Eight Branches Method adheres to the idea that a healthy body should contain a healthy spirit, covering all aspects of life, helping people to change their wrong living habits and establish a correct lifestyle, so as to stay away from diseases. It teaches people how to look at people and things around them and actively adjust their mentality.
Generally speaking, the Eight Branches Method clearly divides yoga practice into eight steps, which is the main yoga school in India and the most suitable yoga school for orientals to practice.
