The first female emperor Wu Zetian? No! It's Chen Shuozhen
When it comes to female emperors, you will definitely think of Wu Zetian in the Tang Dynasty. Indeed, although Wu Zetian has been criticized, she is indeed an extraordinary woman through the ages. But what many people don't know is that there is more than one rare female emperor, Wu Zetian, and there are three other female emperors. Today, I'll tell you about Chen Shuozhen, another of the only four female emperors in ancient China. Coincidentally, a female emperor like Wu Zetian lived in the Tang Dynasty, which may be related to the opening up of the whole country in the Tang Dynasty. We have told you that the female emperor is "Emperor Wen Jia"-Chen Shuozhen.

In the long history of more than 5,000 years in China, kings of all dynasties were dominated by men, and few women proclaimed themselves emperors. Because of this, there have been many strong women in China's history, such as Lv Hou in the Han Dynasty and in the Northern Wei Dynasty, but they just controlled the state affairs and did not change the Yuan Dynasty. The court belongs to the emperor. Finally, two female emperors appeared in the Tang Dynasty, namely "Chen". According to the orthodox imperial power, Wu is the only female emperor in the history of China, which is undeniable.

The difference between Chen and the other three queens is that she comes from the most ordinary and poorest family. She thought: If a man with such a background can be called an emperor, it will be a legend, and she is a weak woman. It can be said that her experience is legendary. She must be a great woman, but her ending is tragic and sad. Chen is a very ordinary woman in rural Zhejiang. Her original life should also be the life of an ordinary small farmer. Like most women at that time, she lived such a life.

But she doesn't want to bow to fate. She doesn't want to be like most women, so her family became very poor after her husband died when he was young. She was indignant at the exploitation of the people by the bureaucracy. Every time she sees the people being oppressed, she becomes more and more dissatisfied with the government. That's what makes her really different. In the face of oppression, ordinary farmers often just endure and accept their own fate, but as a woman, Chen is not inferior to men in courage, courage and wisdom.

That year, Chen Shuozhen, who had accumulated too much anger in his heart, became more and more dissatisfied with the bureaucratic oppression of the people, so he led local farmers to rise up against the bureaucratic oppression and give them a stable and happy environment. Seeing that Chen was so brave and resourceful and promised them a bright future, he made Chen Shuozhen emperor and called him "Wen Jiadi". Farmers oppressed by bureaucrats responded to Chen Shuozhen's call and all supported Chen Shuozhen very much. Soon, the female emperor Chen became more and more powerful and successfully established the peasant regime, which really posed a certain threat to the Tang Dynasty.

This peasant uprising army headed by Chen caused great dissatisfaction among court officials and turned this dissatisfaction into a force. Soon, this untrained peasant army occupied Zhou Mu, Tonglu and other places. The land soon approached Wuzhou, which caused a great shock to the court. Officials in the southeast were very afraid of this peasant army. Although Chen's regime won many victories and the peasant army became more energetic, the huge Tang Dynasty was not a vegetarian. He also quickly sent troops to encircle Chen Shuozhen's regime.

After all, the troops led by Chen are farmers and have not undergone strict military training. Compared with the regular army, he is a thug, and his fighting capacity is not strong. In addition, the rebels lack experience in major wars. With the backwardness of the army, after several battles with Tang Jun, Tang Jun was almost completely annihilated.

As the leader of this regime, although Chen was only a woman, she always fought a decisive battle with Tang Jun, which showed that she was deeply dissatisfied with Tang Guan until she was captured by the enemy. She's still yelling. After being captured alive, he was brutally tortured by the enemy. In the eyes of the imperial court at that time, Chen was a rebel and a woman, and the torture of the queen was naturally more cruel.

In the Tang Dynasty, rebels were generally dismembered, while women were generally executed naked. The rebellious Chen Ziran can't escape. After his arrest, he was brutally tortured naked. Chen Uprising had a far-reaching impact on that time and later generations. She dared to resist the oppression of bureaucrats. She is really an extraordinary and legendary woman.

There are many people who claim to be emperors in China, but few women emperors. Chen, in particular, was the only one who took part in the uprising as a female emperor. There are many places in Zhejiang to commemorate Chen, such as Tianziji and Wannian Building in Qingxi County. Even in the late Northern Song Dynasty, Fang La Uprising in Zhejiang was still influenced by Chen Shuozhen's Uprising. For example, Chen Shuozhen uprising site in Wenjialing, Chun 'an County. For example, the statues of Qiandao Lake and Chen. For example, there is a custom of naked burial of Chen in linen.

According to legend, there was a friendship between Abatti Giresse Concorde and Wu Zetian, but the truth is unknown. At that time, several dude and brothers went to play outside the city. They passed a temple and saw a beautiful young woman, so they came forward to flirt. At this time, a nun in the temple shouted: bold madman, pure Buddha land, you can't be so rude. Just a few moves to get rid of these hooligans and the little girl will be saved. It turns out that this female knight-errant is Chen who entered the mountain before, and the little woman who was rescued is Wu.

It turned out that Li Shimin, Emperor Taizong, had just died, and Wu Zetian followed the example of the Tang Dynasty harem and became a nun, and happened to meet a gangster. After this incident, Chen and Wu Zetian formed, and in the winter of the same year, Li Zhi broke off relations with Wu Zetian. Send someone to welcome Wu Zetian back to the palace. The two sisters talked all night before leaving. Chen said to Wu Shuo, "In a few years, there will be a war in the southeast. This is what my sister said and did. I hope that my sister will not regard my sister as unfaithful and sponsor her. " Wu thought about it and agreed, and the two sisters said goodbye with tears.

A few years later, Zhen Chen launched an uprising. At the critical moment, he sent a letter of help to Wu (Zhao Yi at that time) from his confidant lurking in the capital. Surprisingly, former sister Wu ignored Chen. After the failure of the uprising, Chen was captured and sighed before his execution: My sister is not loyal to the minister.

As for Chen's death, there is another legend. When the rebels were finally trapped at the top of the mountain, Chen immediately rushed to the top of the mountain. Looking back, there are not many insurgents. She waved her sword and prepared to rush down the hill again. Fang and Cui led the arrows and rained down on the top of the mountain. Chen Jianwu in the distance saw two white lights protecting his body. Fang and Cui saw that the disorderly arrows missed Chen, so they ordered the officers and men to shoot two white lights in turn. Chen hit several arrows in the chest and abdomen, and two white lights gathered on the top of the mountain. Suddenly, the sky was bright and a huge phoenix flew over. Chen flew away on a phoenix. So this mountain is now called "Phoenix Mountain".
