1 tutorial:

Huang Lin's "Super Comic Sketch Techniques" (not from an animation club in China) is very good in perspective, sketch, head-to-body comparison and basic articles.

I recommend the whole set of New Century Comic Techniques, including light and shadow, characters, composition, color and lens. They are all very good, especially if you can't color. In the chapter on color, some materials are separated to talk about color, but you have to have a certain foundation to understand it.

2 Watercolor:

Beginners can buy the most common tubular watercolors, there is no need to buy solid watercolors. Marley (white box), Terrence, Windsor Newton can all add one, generally less than 20 yuan (12 color). Wait until you have a good grasp before buying a solid one. Personally, solid watercolor pigments are not cost-effective and are not suitable for beginners.

3. Pressure sensitive pen:

If you have no foundation, you'd better practice hand painting first. No matter what painting software you use, it is most important to suit yourself. To learn digital painting, you should at least be familiar with the software you use, and you can't even use it. How to draw with it? In addition, software and pressure-sensitive pens are just tools. Don't think that it is enough to have a pressure-sensitive pen and be able to use software. How can you draw a satisfactory work without hard work? ! Kung fu is king! Hand-painted is the foundation!

Several conditions of digital painting hardware;

First of all, you should have a pressure-sensitive pen, a computer (at least 2G memory) and a professional monitor (this is a must, and the monitor is very important).

Pressure sensitive pen selection:

If you are a novice, recommend WACOM's bamboo or a domestic friend painter. As for Hanwang, it has to be said that it is a pit! You'll know how pitted it is after using it!

There are many pressure-sensitive pens in my working relationship. I have used Guifan 440, Yingtuo III, Yingtuo IV, Jiyou Manying 08, Ji You Rainbow Special Edition, Ji You G5. These models are all good, mainly solid. Newcomers can choose Ji You or bamboo at first (bamboo is afraid of losing, which is more delicate). After all, learn more and then consider Yingtuo IV and Yingtuo V..

1000 for bamboo, over 200 ~700 for Ji You, and the rainbow special edition I used was only in 400 yuan.

I suggest you buy cheap ones first, practice for a few years, and then buy expensive ones.

There are two main places to choose a pressure sensitive pen. One is the induction area, which is the real operation area. Although some boards are quite large, the operating area is not large, at least the sensing area is about 6*8 (or the ratio of widescreen is 5*9 or 6*9), which is too small compared with it in fineness. My experience is too great to use, and I am too tired to draw.

The other is the pressure sensitivity level. Generally, the most common ones on the market are 5 12, 1024,2048 and at least1024. For example, INTO IV, INTO V and Ji You Special Edition are the pressure sensitivity grades of 2048, while Bamboo, INTO III and Manying are the pressure sensitivity grades of 1024.

In addition, you can download a YY and add channel 8629. There are tutors who teach comics every day, which is also of a public welfare nature. After you go in, there is a reception desk to guide you how to operate. If you have any questions, just ask the tutor in class.
