In the interview, Nina talked about the experience of shooting The Vampire Diaries and revealed the plot trend. However, when asked about the change from partner to lover with her boyfriend, Nina is careless and clever.
Reporter: This is your first visit to China in Asia. How do you feel?
Nina: I was looking forward to it before I came. I was touched to see many fans meet me at the airport last night.
Reporter: "The Vampire Diaries" is a TV series that familiarizes China audiences with you. What is the biggest gain from filming so far?
Nina: To tell the truth, I can travel anywhere in this play. I have been to Australia and London before, and now I am in China. This drama has given me many opportunities to appreciate different cultures and different people. I like this very much, and I am lucky to let the audience know me through this play.
Reporter: Is it difficult for one person to play two roles in the play? Because I will play high school students and vampires for a while, how to adjust?
Nina: The experience of playing two roles is really extraordinary. It's a challenge, it's more fun, and sometimes you even have to switch between two roles several times a day. Actually, it's all the same when you think about it. You play a role in a movie, and a few months later, you play a new role in a new movie. Before you play a new play, you will do a lot of preparatory work to study the role. Actually, filming The Vampire Diaries just overlaps with this work. This is a different experience. It's hard not to complain. This is what I am happy to do.
Reporter: This season of The Vampire Diaries, you remembered the memory that was erased by Damon before and fell in love with the second protagonist Damon. What happens after that?
Nina: Do you want me to destroy it? I can only tell you what I can say. After I became a vampire, all my memories came back, including my previous memories and how to erase them. I gradually realized that Meng was much better, compassionate and caring than I expected, and then I gradually liked him. These qualities have never been seen before, and all actions and emotions have become very unstable, irritable, and mood changes greatly. Sometimes I am very happy, and suddenly I am very sad, just like the feeling of being in a rebellious period.
Reporter: I heard that Charlie Bewley, a handsome actor in Twilight, will make a guest appearance in the American TV series The Vaughans, in which he will play Vaughan, a member of the vampire hunter "Five" that Boss is afraid of. I wonder if this part of the play has been finished? Can you introduce the situation?
Nina: Actually, I didn't know he played Twilight before joining the league. His guest appearance, with a Scottish accent, is very interesting.
Reporter: Will changing from a partner to a lover with a boyfriend have an impact on filming? Because you once said that you can't date your partner, will this affect your professional accomplishment now?
Nina: (cleverly bypassing this question) Everyone in the whole cast is very close, like a big family, and the working atmosphere is very good.
Reporter: You were a gymnast at first. Are the motor cells in your body what keep you alive? Why did you give up gymnastics and join the entertainment circle? After all these years, do you regret your original choice?
Nina: I am very energetic because I can come to China to see so many fans who like me. I didn't drink coffee today. I don't know why there is so much energy and excitement today. It is the enthusiasm of the fans that makes me radiant!
All gymnasts have to choose whether to continue practicing or find another way. If they keep practicing, their gymnastics career may end around the age of 20. I chose another life path at 16, and I found that I like acting very much and went further than my sports career. Another reason is that I like playing different people's lives very much.
Reporter: Many viewers think you are pure, but it is not ambiguous to be sexy at the event. What is your dress code and fashion concept?
Nina: My style is more energetic. I like people to see my wild side, full of adventure. In my daily life, I will keep in touch with designers and fashionistas, be inspired by them, and read magazines to see how others dress up. I like fashion very much.
