What do crickets eat?
Crickets like to eat crop roots, vegetables and fruits.

Crickets, invertebrates, Insecta, Orthoptera, Grylloidea. Also known as promoting weaving, commonly known as cricket and so on. According to research, cricket is an ancient insect with a history of at least 65.438+0.4 billion years.

For crickets raised by humans, the breeder will reasonably match the diet according to the nutritional needs of crickets, and feed the food regularly and quantitatively every day according to the scientific proportion. Be careful not to feed food with high water content, because it is easy to cause cricket diarrhea and even death.

Daily management:

To raise crickets in cages, the natural feed in cages alone can't meet the needs of insects. Artificial feed with easy accumulation, small volume and high nutrition can be used as the main feed, supplemented by a small amount of natural green feed, and the feeding effect is better.

Artificial feed:

Formula 1: soybean flour 20%, coarse wheat flour 35%, corn flour 20%, skimmed milk powder 15%, liver flour 5% and dry yeast 5%.

Formula 2: corn flour 25%, soybean flour 20%, coarse wheat flour 25%, skimmed milk powder 15%, dry yeast 5%, fish meal 10%. At the same time, put the mixed rice into a container, stir it evenly, grind it, and spread it on a wooden board for feeding. 1 time, don't put too much in it, it's better to eat it.

Because the food of crickets is very miscellaneous when they are in the wild, they should "clear their intestines" when they are caught in a basin and artificially fed. The general practice is to feed them with mashed raw edamame or cooked mung beans first. After a few days, the feces discharged by crickets gradually changed from muddy water to pure food feces, and then they can be fed normal food. In early autumn, the food of cricket is basically cereal, and some meat can be added.
