Last month, I just talked about the product of Baya (Bayer Power) wireless collar Lambert 2, and the feedback from the comments was the same as I expected. Traditional audio manufacturers are still the first choice of many users, avoiding stepping on pits, being stable and reliable, and being more suitable for enjoying beautiful music with peace of mind.

As the king of dynamic headphones, Baya is obviously slower in the wireless field. Blue Bird 2, which is positioned at a thousand yuan, is a routine update, and it has been almost interesting since the return of the king.

I feel that people all over the world are waiting for the "last big factory" to produce real wireless headphones. Sure enough! Suddenly, Baya FREE BYRD was released, and it came up as a flagship product with a lot of materials.

Now it's up to us to see if this expectation is worth our long wait!

As the newest product of Baya, classic stability and reliability are the first elements. It is obvious that Bayard has been secretly preparing for a long time (FREE BYRD has been developing for more than two years) before releasing a new product so unexpectedly.

Free Bird packaging is very jian (yue), and it doesn't seem to have the domineering of the flagship. Without gorgeous unpacking, turning to the theme of environmental protection (recycling a lot of paper) is a bit like Sony WF- 1000XM4. Small package is another advantage for box controller. Of course, I still hope that Baya can show more muscles while being pragmatic.

After all, the positioning of real wireless and wired headphones is different, and it is almost meaningless to make accessories like Seranto. The main body of Free Bird is not equipped with earmuffs by default. Counting the following five sets of rubber sleeves+three sets of C sleeves and one set of ***8 sets is definitely enough.

Baya's "moving circle" and "obsession" are basically impossible to produce radical products. In order to ensure every demand, it is difficult to slim down the free BYRD charging box. It seems that the opening way of Free Bird is not a simple elliptical cylinder, but from bottom to top, from narrow to wide. This design can blindly divide the position of the top cover.

Free Bird balanced the current trend of active noise reduction in mainstream ANC at one time. In order to insert a bunch of components such as four microphones, distance sensor, 10mm moving coil unit, the double-layer cavity structure is large from the side, which is more practical for both auricle wearing and finger touch area.

Baya Logo and the reminder light are located in a straight line, and the relief design suddenly enhances the stereoscopic effect of the earphone. Baya headphones always have a fresh and refined feeling, which can achieve Excellence in design, sound, function and other aspects, which is not available in most products on the market.

The free BYRD unilateral earphone weighs 7 grams, but the side looks a little big, but there is no pressure at all. Especially with the memory sponge cover, the adhesion is greatly improved, which has an additional effect on physical sound insulation.

As the standard of the flagship product, Baya saw all the functions of the opponent. In addition to active noise reduction, the free BYRD charging box also supports 10 minute fast charging technology and Qi wireless charging.

Comprehensive endurance, FREE BYRD can reach 1 1 hour, including the extra 20 hours provided by the charging box, reaching the level of more than 30 hours in total. According to my personal commuting for two hours every day and putting it on the wireless charging board for ten and a half months, I can basically achieve "unlimited battery life".

As I said in my last article, MIY APP is a function that pays great attention to the experience angle. It customizes the exclusive EQ scheme by adjusting the sound preference, which is obviously much smarter than the traditional "rigid" EQ solution. After all, it is measured by designing a frequency response curve for your ears.

As the first real wireless device in China, FREE BYRD touch operation needs a brand-new logic. The measured touch has no feedback, but the sensitivity is high and the probability of accidental touch is small. However, I didn't know the original Bluetooth pairing method until I turned over the manual (touch and press twice in the charging box before entering the pairing mode). I wonder if it can be optimized.

Freebird's moving circle itself is Baya's specialty. On the true wireless with higher communication requirements, aptX Adaptive and Bluetooth 5.2 are definitely indispensable. Except for audio games, which have extremely strict requirements for zero delay, there is no delay in other daily use. You can listen to songs without turning on the low-latency mode (you need to switch in the APP), and you can still enjoy wonderful music without reservation.

Quality is still Baya's first priority. If you have heard of the balanced nature of Sheranto, you can definitely find the shadow of TA in Free Bird. However, there are still good enough models for true wireless. What Free Bird wants is not standing at home, but PK. To this end, the flagship level should also conform to the aesthetic orientation of the current voice, and pay more attention to the mixed degree of listening. Of course, this still needs to be done on the premise of Bayar's basic tuning.

"Cleanliness, naturalness and inheritance" is my first impression of Bird, a free bird. The middle and lower plates have a strong sense of atmosphere, and there is also an empty inspiration that the middle and high frequencies pay attention to transparency and sound field. Even I said FREE BYRD is not like a single-action earphone. If I were to recommend genre, symphony and classical, I would still be competent and worthy of Baya's golden signboard. The "cool feeling" of pop music is not as direct as that of electronic EQ, so engineers gently adjust the frequency response curve to the maximum. On the contrary, some electronic sounds are not FREE BYRD's strong points, and it seems that they were not Baya's strong points before.

Objectively speaking, FREE BYRD seems to be a novice to TWS+ANC, and the final report card is still very playable. Baya is more like a "hexagonal warrior" who can go anywhere, but there is definitely a gap between ANC and APP compared with the absolute ability of a single product. Perhaps Baya's engineers are well aware of the gap, but they keep a low profile and stick to Baya-style products, which is a very German craftsman spirit.

For ordinary users, anyone who is not in a hurry can make waves. As Baya's first true wireless, it is also the flagship identity, and with the slow update of Baya's new products, the price is expected to be stable for some time.
