Ma Zhiyuan was an outstanding dramatist and essayist in Yuan Dynasty. His "Jing Tian Shah Qiu Si" has always been regarded as an outstanding masterpiece in poetry and known as "the father of Qiu Si". For hundreds of years, it has been famous for its artistic charm (Wang Guowei's "Words on Earth").
