Brief introduction of belgrills
Bell? Griles began to pursue adventure at an early age. He grew up on the Isle of Wight in England. When he was a little boy, he climbed mountains with his father. He served in special air service-Air Force Special Forces for three years. During his service, Bell suffered an accident in a skydiving in southern Africa and suffered three fractures in his back. Despite serious injuries, he became the youngest British mountaineer to climb Mount Everest in 1998 at the age of 23. In his first book, Children Climbing Mount Everest, Bell described his experience. Not willing to give up, Bell finished another first prize. He traveled around England with the Everest mountaineering team by jet sled. In addition, Bell completed an unprecedented feat of crossing the North Atlantic in a hard-bottomed rubber dinghy without help. His book about this adventure, Facing the Ice Ocean, was selected as "the best sports book of the year in Britain", and Bell was awarded a commission of the Royal Navy for this unprecedented adventure.

In June 2005, Bell broke the world record for high-altitude dinner and hung a dining table under a hot air balloon at an altitude of 24,500 feet. He got down from the basket of the hot air balloon, went to the dining table, ate three courses in a full navy uniform, then saluted the queen and parachuted to the ground. Its purpose is to support the Prince's Trust Fund and the Duke of Edinburgh Award for charitable work.

In 2005, Bell hosted the TV series "The Exile of the Corps" on Channel 4 in the UK, and led a group of young people to the Western Sahara Desert to receive the demonic basic training of the famous French foreign corps.

His second series on Channel 4 is called Born Survivor: Bell? Griles, produced in Britain in April 2007.

On May 15, 2007, Bell set another world record: he became the first person to fly over Mount Everest in a powered paraglider. With the help of GKN Everest Action Team, Griles and his fellow pilot Gilbert? Cardoso climbed Mount Everest in a specially modified paraglider. Although Gilbert was forced to stop flying at a distance of 0/000 feet from the top of the mountain because of paragliding, Bell still climbed to a height of 29,500 feet overlooking Mount Everest and circled over many famous peaks in the Himalayas. There was something wrong with his paraglider engine, forcing him to fly back to safety-but he has achieved his goal. This action raised10 million dollars for the Global Angel Charity Foundation to help African children. The staff of Planet Earth filmed the feats of Bell and Gilbert, and will make a two-hour album, which will be broadcast on Discovery Channel and British Channel 4.

Bell's book Born Survivor: Survival Skills in the Worst Environment on Earth was published in the spring of 2007 and became one of the "Top Ten Best-sellers" of The Sunday Times. His new book is the best guide to seeking outdoor excitement, entitled "Bell? Griles' outdoor adventure.

In 2008, Griles and Al? Hodgson, scott freddy. Together, MacDonald set a Guinness World Record-the longest indoor skydiving time. In Milton Keynes's vertical wind tunnel, their parachuting time exceeded the original record by several seconds. This activity aims to support the Global Angel Charity Foundation.

June 5438+February 2008, Bell accidentally broke his shoulder while trying to kite ski in Antarctica. His snowboard got stuck in the ice, and as a result, he was thrown into the air and hurt his shoulder when he landed.

On May 17, 2009, the British Scout Association announced the appointment of Griles as its president. At the handover ceremony on July 1 1, 2009, Bell was formally appointed as the chairman in front of 3000 boy scouts.

Bell lives with his wife Sarah, three sons Jesse, Huckleberry and marmaduke on a modified barge on the Thames.
