Video tutorial on the production method of silicone mold
The video tutorial on the production method of silicone mold is as follows:

Mold can be used to make many beautiful decorations, and also can be used to make many delicious snacks, cakes and so on. And it has a long life.

Generally, molds need to have good separability and good engraving and elasticity, so many molds are made of silica gel.

Generally, materials need to be made of silicon sulfide. Silicon sulfide can be divided into two types, addition and condensation specifications, both of which can be used.

Many factors need to be considered when determining the configuration ratio, including temperature, required die strength and die hardness. According to these, first determine the allocation ratio.

For example, how to match the proportion depends on the situation. Here is a simple example. If the room temperature is between 20 and 25 degrees, the ratio is about 100: 1.5.

When making concrete production, if the materials are ready, just pour them into clean objects, which is the mold you want to make.

Note: Generally, if you want to increase the tension of the mold, you should cover it with a layer of gauze and the like. It will be available in about a day.

Stir silica gel and curing agent evenly. The silica gel of the mold is a flowing liquid, the first component is silica gel, and the second component is curing agent. Example: Take 100g silica gel and add 2g curing agent.

(Note: Silica gel and curing agent must be stirred evenly. If the stirring is not uniform, part of the mold will be cured and part will not be cured, and the drying and curing of silica gel will be uneven, which will affect the service life of silica gel mold and the turnover times of the mold, and even cause the mold to be scrapped.

Vacuuming and defoaming treatment: after the silica gel and curing agent are mixed evenly, vacuumizing and defoaming should be carried out. Under normal circumstances, the vacuumizing time should not exceed ten minutes. If the vacuumizing time is too long, the silica gel will solidify immediately, resulting in cross-linking reaction.

Breaking the silica gel into pieces, which can neither be painted nor poured, wastes the silica gel, so we have to pour the silica gel into the trash can and take it away.

Brush coating or operation process: brush or pour the silica gel that has been vacuumized to drain bubbles. Pour it on the product (note: the product or model to be copied before pouring silica gel must be coated with release agent or isolation agent).

Then the silica gel is evenly coated on the product, and after 30 minutes, a layer of gauze weft cloth is attached to increase the strength and tension of the silica gel.

Then brush a layer of silica gel and stick a layer of gauze weft cloth, so you can do it twice. Only by doing this, the service life and turnover times of silica gel mold will be greatly improved, which can save costs and improve efficiency.

Manufacture of external mold: The generally adopted method and material is to enclose the mold with rubber board or wooden board. One is to fill the mold cabinet with gypsum, and the other is to brush resin. Brush a layer of resin, then paste a layer of glass fiber cloth, and then brush and paste two or three layers repeatedly to complete the external mold.

Casting mold or operation method of casting mold: Casting mold or casting mold is used for relatively smooth or simple products, and there is no mold line, which saves labor and time, that is, the products or models you want to copy are surrounded by rubber plates or glass plates.

Pour the evacuated silica gel directly on the product, and after the silica gel is dried and molded, take out the product and the mold is molded (note: generally, soft silica gel is used as the mold for injection mold, which makes it easier to demould and will not damage the product in the silica gel mold).
