Has the current Chinese medicine surpassed the theory of the ancients and continued to develop?
Personal opinion: I am a folk Chinese medicine enthusiast, and I have been practicing medicine for nearly a hundred years. Under the policy of illegal medical practice that I am afraid of now, it is good to learn the medical theory left by predecessors. However, under the impact of the economic tide of reform and opening up, how many young people are going to study Chinese medicine? Tell a short story: I work and live in Shanghai. One night, I went to the bookstore to read medical books. On the way, a policeman asked me about my ID card and what I was doing. I said come back after reading medical books. The police officer said: Nobody likes reading these days. It's been years, and I haven't forgotten it. Therefore, it is good to learn from our predecessors today.

Generally speaking, Chinese medicine is not a complete system! Basically, it depends on Huangdi Neijing, Zhang Zhongjing's Treatise on Febrile Diseases, Sun Simiao's Qianjinfang and the limited records of ancient medical explorers. In addition, there has never been a perfect medical teaching system in history, nor has there been a recognized and verified implementation plan. Therefore, there has always been a conceptual misunderstanding of the term Chinese medicine.

In fact, most of these famous doctors in history are irrelevant! Many stories, unknown origin! For example, who is the author of Huangdi Neijing, who he studied with, who his fellow disciples are, and who he passed it on to, there is no record to test. It will become an orphan! Similarly, Zhang Zhongjing and Sun Simiao were self-taught and recorded their own practices. I can't bear to part with it, and I don't know how to say it! There is a date in the middle.

Therefore, strictly speaking, the whole formation of Chinese medicine is a folk medical exploration or practice, which is not related to each other. It shouldn't be called medicine, it can only be said that it is my own experience. So far, most Chinese medicine practitioners who can really treat diseases have no academic qualifications, and the English test is even more difficult, so it is not easy to get a formal medical license. It's just that they are all from China, and they are all practicing medicine. They are called Chinese medicine practitioners, and all they want is a sense of belonging.

Because most theories of traditional Chinese medicine are based on philosophical thinking modes such as the Book of Changes, a truly complete and systematic medical system has not been formed! Can only say that it depends on the world outlook and methodology of China culture. From this point of view, beyond the ancient Chinese medicine theory, there is no way to start! Because, what can represent the theory of traditional Chinese medicine, yin and yang and five elements? Still cold, hot, cold and wet? These are not even theories, but a working method of observation, classification and summary.

The core of medicine is to study the formation, development and outcome of diseases! Chinese medicine and western medicine are just beginning! For the mystery of the human body, scientists only know the skin! From the perspective of pathology, the treatment of diseases will help people find ways to get health and restore health!

Chinese medicine developed to the Han dynasty, and the theory and practice represented by Zhang Zhongjing made Chinese medicine reach an unprecedented peak, and it was difficult to make a breakthrough after that. For more than two thousand years, Chinese medicine has basically stagnated under the theoretical framework set by Zhang Zhongjing, and even shrunk from generation to generation. The theoretical framework of Zhang Zhongjing's classification of eight syndromes and six meridians is too complicated and mysterious, which is suspected of overlapping beds and complications. Coupled with the continuous development and supplement of later physicians, Chinese medicine eventually fell into the abyss of complex scholasticism, which made it difficult for later physicians to learn. This is the fundamental reason why it is difficult for Chinese medicine to break through the achievements of predecessors and fall into the metaphysical dilemma for thousands of years.

The practice and theory of traditional Chinese medicine come from the people and become folk. After thousands of years of practice, summary and induction, it conforms to the principle of the operation of the universe and belongs to the study of simplicity. Therefore, the theory of traditional Chinese medicine will not be so complicated in principle. The core of traditional Chinese medicine is nothing more than the mutual growth and decline of yin and yang and the restraint of five elements. The Book of Changes clearly and concisely explains the theory of the rise and fall of Yin and Yang and the mutual restraint of the five elements. The theory of Chinese medicine comes from the Book of Changes, so it is relatively simple to explain Chinese medicine with the theory of the Book of Changes. As long as we master the basic principle of restraint of the sixty-four hexagrams in Yijing and the properties and meridian tropism of commonly used Chinese herbal medicines, we can use the knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine to diagnose and treat diseases. In 2006, because of a serious illness, I sought medical treatment everywhere, but all failed. Later, I used Yijing to intervene in Chinese medicine self-study, but I taught myself for several months. Not only achieved self-treatment and self-rescue, but also embarked on the road of amateur Chinese medicine. Over the past ten years, I have cured a large number of patients, most of whom can't be cured by big hospitals.

Explaining TCM with Yi-ology, we can basically abandon Zhang Zhongjing's complicated theory of eight cardinal principles of syndrome differentiation and six pathogenic factors, and directly use the principles of mutual root of yin and yang, elimination of ascending and descending, and inhibition of life by five elements to solve the diagnosis and prescribe drugs. Whether the drugs are symptomatic or not is clear at a glance. This method is not only easy to learn, but also the therapeutic effect is much higher than that of traditional methods.

Is there any development and innovation in TCM theory? Is there any theory beyond the ancient Chinese medicine theory? First of all, we have to ask: have the five stars, the sun, the earth, the moon, gold, wood, water, fire and earth, greatly deviated from their original ancient trajectories for thousands of years? Is there any change in the Qi of Yin-Yang and Five Elements between heaven and earth? Has the running route of human bones, internal organs, facial features, blood vessels and qi and blood greatly deviated from the qualitative change of ancient humans? If these objective changes are minimal, they can be almost ignored. Why should the theory reflecting everything in the objective world be greatly changed? If it changes from time to time like western medicine, that is what they see and reflect, not necessarily the essence of the objective world, but its standard and direction, which is by no means the root and source. Knowing the standard and not knowing the root, the rule of law is wrong and can't be cured. Don't mistakenly think that rapid change means progress and innovation, and it is wrong to change and innovate without the essence of objective facts! There are no exceptions. The original and fundamental things will not be changed easily. It is the miraculous effect of traditional Chinese medicine to cure diseases and save lives and eradicate the root causes!

Yes I bought a book "800 monosodium glutamate, commonly used Chinese medicine" edited by Jia Yuhai more than ten years ago. It has been used until now. It is like a simple notebook of TCM principles, methods, prescriptions and drugs. Grass-roots Chinese medicine practitioners can see at a glance that the biggest advantage is that each Chinese medicine not only has traditional theory, but also has chemical analysis of its drugs. For example, dandelion, which I have used the most in recent years, has been certified by Chinese medicine as toxic heat invading the lungs, damp heat in moderate coke, and leukorrhagia in women. Dandelion must be used, and the dosage is large, without side effects. The curative effect is better than that of western medicine penicillin, and it is not allergic! So, I think this book surpasses others? Here: Thanks again to Mr. Jia Yuhai!

I was born in self-enlightenment, and I didn't take medicine for eight years, so I used the method of turning internal interest into energy, borrowing external qi, helping internal qi, dredging evil spirits, and promoting the great cycle of yin and yang to smooth out the diseases I got in 54 years by changing the number of five qi. The source of the disease there violated my meridians and repaired the short circuit of human function with true qi. If we can understand the soul thinking of body qi and blood in another ten, twenty or even thirty years, it may be possible.

Modern Chinese medicine research also wants to transcend ancient theories? What an idiotic dream! The classic theory of traditional Chinese medicine can be traced back to ancient times, and then to the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period. The fastest development was in the Han, Tang, Song and Yuan Dynasties. Since the end of Qing dynasty, it has been destroyed more and more seriously. At present, Chinese medicine is really popular except for ordinary people, and the real Chinese medicine in other places is less than 1%, which is euphemistically called "pioneering and innovating"! It is also called "combination of Chinese and western medicine"! Chinese medicine is managed according to the thinking of western medicine. In this way, real Chinese medicine will soon die out completely. Do you want to surpass the ancients? I can really think of that!

As long as we work hard, the current theory of traditional Chinese medicine will continue to develop beyond the ancients. For example, on the basis of inheriting ancient medical theory and pharmaceutical theory, we focus on the occurrence, development, change, medication law, diagnosis and health care methods of a certain disease. On this basis, we can create an original school, write a book and make a statement, and summarize a disease one by one from the understanding of its etiology and pathogenesis to the dialectical diagnosis, symptom manifestations and medication prescriptions at various stages. However, these theories must be verified by long-term practice in order to make effective and universally applicable medical theories, which can be regarded as achievements in the field of Chinese medicine and surpass the ancients in Chinese medicine theory.

There is no urgent reason. Just like China's Chinese characters, do you need to invent more Chinese characters? You can do it, but it doesn't matter. Just for fun. The existing Chinese characters have satisfied the expressive function. Like traditional Chinese medicine, his principles are based on oriental philosophy and meet the guidance needs of all treatments. Innovation is only an innovation at the application level based on the principles of traditional Chinese medicine, just like Chinese characters are enough, and what needs innovation is only the writing method.

Traditional Chinese medicine is based on several ancient books, and it is not allowed to test the authenticity of its theory. How can we break through? How to continue to develop? Western medicine develops completely according to the path of empirical science, so it will constantly correct mistakes and absorb new scientific and technological achievements, thus having unlimited vitality. Taking diagnosis as an example, Chinese medicine has relied on seeing, listening and asking questions for thousands of years. Even to the extreme, there are still great limitations. The earliest diagnosis of western medicine is actually similar to asking questions, which depends on the doctor's personal experience. However, with the development of science and technology, there are microscopes, X-ray machines, computer images, detecting genetic diseases with DNA and so on, and the future is infinitely broad. People in China often think that everything left by our ancestors is good and can't be moved. In fact, our generation will be ancestors in the future. Do you think that if we are living well now, we should let future generations learn everything?
