What is the DSD code?
Sewing Data (GSD) is a predetermined action time system, which is specially designed for sewing products industry. It is an easy-to-understand method and analysis skill, and it is also the time standard setting of sewing supplies industry. GSD is developed by using the central data of MTM (the collective name of scheduled action and time system) association, aiming at providing an accurate, easy-to-understand and easy-to-communicate method to analyze and determine time standards. It is specially designed for the sewing industry and is developed in this industry.

The system consists of 36 data items, divided into 7 categories, each category has a simple code, which is easy to use and understand. Each data item has a constant TMU value. There is also a set of sewing code initial forming rules and sewing formulas in the system to help calculate the machine time. GSD has become the standard of method analysis and time research in sewing industry. This is a multi-level and multi-purpose system. It can be used to evaluate all operations, including cutting, sewing, ironing, inspection and packaging. Suitable for small batch, large batch and continuous process.
