What are the methods of induced abortion?
Abortion methods from pregnancy to 3 months can be roughly divided into two types: scratching method and suction method.

After 4 months of pregnancy, in principle, artificial labor pains are used to let pregnant women give birth.

scratch

This is the standard method of induced abortion, which is to scrape the embryo out of the uterus. Because the operation is very painful, it needs anesthesia. This kind of operation is suitable for women who are pregnant for 2-3 months.

The method is to insert the microscope into the vagina, then open the cervix with the metal rod of the cervical dilator, and put the placenta forceps into the uterus to take out the fetus and its accessories. In order not to leave anything in the uterus, gently scrape the inner wall of the uterus with a metal utensil with a spoon-shaped front end.

Attraction method

This is a method of sucking the fetus and its accessories out of the uterus with an aspirator, which requires local or general anesthesia. This kind of operation can be completed in a short time, but with the increase of pregnancy months, the fetus becomes bigger and sometimes it cannot be completely absorbed.

The suction method is the same as the curettage method, which is to open the cervix with a cervical dilator, then clamp the cervix with uterine forceps and insert the aspirator into the uterus. The aspirator is connected by a transparent plastic pipe.

Insert the aspirator until it touches the fetus, and then start the machine to take out the fetus and its accessories. Then use an aspirator to search and suck in the uterus without leaving any residue.

After more than 4 months of pregnancy, the fetus becomes bigger and cannot be scratched or attracted. At this time, artificial labor pains should be used to contract the uterus and give birth to the fetus.

If the cervix is hard, a cervical dilator should be used to open the cervix before the labor pains.

This cervical dilator is a thin stick made of kelp roots, which will slowly expand after absorbing water.

Insert these thin sticks into the uterine orifice, and after more than half a day, with the expansion of the medicine stick, the uterine orifice will naturally open.

After the cervix is opened, use a pain promoter to make it painful. When the pain turns into amniotic fluid, it will rupture, the fetus will give birth, and then the placenta will come out. But if there is any residue, the placenta will scratch the uterus after giving birth.

One of the reasons why induced abortion is difficult to implement after 4 months of pregnancy is that labor pains are not simple. If the pain promoter can't make pregnant women feel pain, other measures should be taken.
