What kind of history is the movie Heart Time about?
Gama, an old Tibetan, visited the Revolutionary History Museum in Ruijin, Jiangxi, and was seen by a group of young PLA soldiers with her matchbox and several IOUs from the Red Army Hospital. Under the enthusiastic and repeated questioning of the soldiers, the thoughts of the old man Gama returned to the 1930s of the war years: 1934, 16-year-old Eiko found the Red Army with the belief of revenge. With the help of sister Hongyan of the medical team, Eiko became a glorious Red Army soldier and was assigned to work in the medical team. In the contact with Dr. Liu from the medical team, Eiko and Dr. Liu from the big city had a sincere love. After the Long March began, Dr. Liu was transferred from the Military Station Hospital. As a token of love, Eiko opened the brass matchbox given by Colonel Chen when they broke up, leaving the inner box and the outer box to Dr. Liu. Following the Long March, Eiko came to the Tibetan grassland. Facing the vast blue lake, Eiko was rescued by Tibetan youth Logie in do or die. After struggling to rescue Hongyan and Colonel Chen's child who was about to be shot by white bandits, Eiko named the child Gamma in order to make the child remember his mother. In order to raise Gamma, Eiko went into Logie's tent. In the days when she helped her mother treat Tibetans, Eiko missed the army all the time and missed Dr. Liu, who was still alive and dead. After searching again and again and being disappointed again and again, in the face of complicated and cruel years, Eiko finally chose to live with the kind Logie. 1949, Eiko died heroically in the battle to liberate Tibet. After the liberation of Tibet, Tibetan compatriots mourned in the most solemn way, and Xiao Gama also met his biological father, Commander Chen. However, Gama has never left the Tibetan grassland, and has always treasured the brass matchbox left by Eiko's mother and lived with Tibetan compatriots.
