On the basis of refined oil, saturated fatty acids are removed, which is the chief culprit of obesity, vascular aging and sclerosis. Removing this doesn't mean there is no oil. This is just a kind of content in oil, and there are unsaturated fatty acids, protein, vitamins and so on.
Defatted rapeseed oil and defatted corn oil are the same in the degreasing process. The reason for the choice is what nutrition we should supplement when eating oil. For example, rapeseed oil is rich in vitamin E, and corn oil is rich in phytosterols.
