Hu Die, formerly known as Hu Ruihua, was a famous movie star in China in the 1920s and 1930s. She is called "the first beauty of the Republic of China", with an oval face, unforgettable dimples and charming and dignified temperament.
That year, when starring in the movie Autumn Fan, Hu Die met her boyfriend Lin Xuehuai. 1927 Spring, they got engaged. At that time, once the engagement was announced, it was equivalent to establishing a relationship between husband and wife and being protected by law.
However, after the engagement, Lin Xuehuai was psychologically unbalanced because of the huge popularity gap between them, and then he alienated Hu Die because he failed to give up his film career. 1930 Huai sued for breaking off the engagement on the grounds of tabloid news. Hu Die invited Zhan Jifeng, a famous lawyer in Shanghai at that time, as a defense lawyer, and Lin Xuehuai's defense lawyer was E Sen.
From the court to the tabloids, the two sides fought a war of words and the lawsuit was a sensation.
The barrister took part in the Tokyo trial.
E Sen, 1902, from Jiusheng Village, Touqiao Town, Yangzhou, went abroad to study law. After returning to China, he worked as a practicing lawyer in Shanghai and concurrently served as a professor at Soochow University Law School. He is a famous lawyer in Shanghai. In the 1920s, E Sen won the first batch of special-purpose car brands numbered "3333" in China with 20 or 30 taels of gold, and served as a defense lawyer in many famous cases.
1946, E Sen was selected as one of the four additional consultants for the Tokyo trial of the China delegation, personally collecting evidence of the inhuman crimes committed by Japanese war criminals in China, and finally bringing the Japanese war criminals to justice for the people of China.
"Ershon's family is a wealthy businessman in the first bridge. Its historical sites in Jiusheng Village and Qingfeng Village, such as Hubei Ancestral Hall (Huaidetang), Hubei Old House, Hubei Ancestral Land, Hubei Wharf, Hubei shed, etc., have all gone down in history and are well-known in rural areas. " Tian Zheng introduced that the "E's Family Tree" in Touqiao Town recorded in detail the 100-year history of the relocation of the En 'e family in Jiushengzhou, Touqiao. Its ancestor, E Fengshan, was one of the earliest people in Touqiao in Ming Dynasty. "From the ancestor, the Goose Peak in the Ming Dynasty, the Goose family lived in Touqiao for more than 450 years."
193 1 year, the "Jiangzhou flood" occurred in Touqiao, and E Sen and his father, Ejinbo, were fearless and generous. After the flood receded, the people in their hometown thanked the E family for their dedication to the people and raising money for disaster relief. They spontaneously presented a "national umbrella" to the e government in Touqiao to express their gratitude, which was a story for a while.
E Sen has moved to Shanghai for nearly 50 years, but his hometown Touqiao always remembers this wanderer. Today, Touqiao Town regards E Sen as one of the "Four Sages of the Country" in Touqiao Town. It not only erected a bronze statue for E Sen in Touqiao Celebrity Garden and the living room in the town, but also specially built Huaide Garden, Hu Ming Bridge and Lugong Pavilion in Jiusheng Village where he was born, in memory of this native who walked out of Touqiao.
Later generations donated historical materials many times in their homeland.
Although Hubei descendants have long since left Touqiao, their concern for their homeland has never changed. Tian Zheng introduced that in recent years, descendants of Hubei have presented important historical materials of the clan to Touqiao many times. "There is a" Hubei Genealogy ",and there are brushes and inkstones used by E Sen. The variety is very rich." Previously, descendants of Hubei also organized activities to "seek roots" in Touqiao.
Although Ning Er, Eisen's great granddaughter, has never visited the bridge in the future, she has always cared about it. She said, "As descendants of E Sen, we will always remember Touqiao, the hometown where Zeng Shiju, the ancestor of Hubei Province, lived for 450 years."
Knowing that Touqiao Town Museum of Literature and History intends to collect more information about E Sen, Ning Er immediately said that she would donate a set of high-definition photos of Hu Die that she treasured to witness the sensational past. On October 7th, 65438/KLOC-0, a group of nearly 20 high-definition photos of Hu Die, the "first beauty of the Republic of China", arrived in Touqiao and were properly displayed in the Literature and History Museum in the living room of Touqiao Town.
Tian Zheng said that Touqiao Town intends to build a Xiangxian Pavilion and is currently collecting and sorting out information. In the future, if the time is ripe, E Sen's relevant materials will be displayed in a concentrated way, so that more people can know the former elegant demeanor of the barrister of the Republic of China.
