Why do very thin people get diabetes? What are the taboos for this type of diabetic?
Generally speaking, patients with type 1 diabetes tend to lose weight, while patients with type 2 diabetes are generally what we call "the disease of wealth". They are generally obese when they are sick, but in fact they will gradually lose weight in the later stage. No matter what kind of diabetes, as long as their blood sugar is uncontrollable and stable, they will lose weight.

At present, the cause of diabetes is not clear, but its basic causes are summarized as genetic factors and environmental factors. Obesity is an important cause of diabetes caused by environmental factors, but it doesn't mean that you can't get diabetes. Diabetes is mainly divided into 1 type diabetes and type 2 diabetes. Among them, 1 type diabetes is mostly thin people, and type 2 diabetes patients are mainly obese, but there are also many cases in which thin people have other diabetes risk factors to develop diabetes. Besides obesity, what other reasons can lead to diabetes?

1. Diabetes is hereditary. Therefore, although people with a family history of diabetes are thin, their chances of developing diabetes will increase. Therefore, people with a family history of diabetes should regularly monitor blood sugar and maintain a healthy lifestyle to delay or avoid the increase of blood sugar.

2. People who are centripetal obese or invisible obese look thin, but in fact, the visceral fat content is high. Therefore, to see whether a person's weight is up to standard, in addition to measuring weight, waist circumference and waist-hip ratio should be measured (for detailed measurement methods, please refer to my previous article).

3. Women who have had a huge baby history will have an increased risk of developing diabetes in the future, so they should pay attention to monitoring blood sugar during pregnancy, achieve a balanced nutrition and try not to eat.

4. Some non-obese women with polycystic ovary syndrome will also increase the risk of diabetes due to endocrine hormone metabolism disorder and hyperinsulinemia.

Some bad emotions, such as long-term tension, anxiety, anger, fear, loneliness, despair, etc. , will lead to diabetes. Therefore, each of us should relax and treat life with an optimistic and positive attitude in order to reduce the occurrence of diseases.

Finally, some wasting diseases can also lead to diabetes. For example, hyperthyroidism will lead to weight loss due to increased secretion of thyroid hormone, but thyroid hormone belongs to glucagon, which will lead to increased blood sugar.
